The airport collection service cost the same as getting the local cab so no advantage to it and it wasn’t there when I arrived though a nice gentleman, Omar’s brother did wait with me. I was put in a different apartment across the road on the first night and had to move the next day which was a pain because of work commitments. Also wasn’t keen to stay in a place I didn’t know after arriving alone late in the evening. Omar wasn’t around a lot. Got hassled to pay full bill but wasn’t keen to until eg the hot water was working. Paid half and then settled on leaving.

When I arrived on my first evening, the room was full of mosquitos (I think they left the door open), but I must say, this problem was immediately tackled/solved by the very friendly staff by installing a mosquito net above the bed and sprayng the room with anti-mosquito spray, so after one hour everything was OK.

Nice basic room in a quiet environment, a bit away from tourist area. Very good value for money !! The staff is very friendly !

The bathroom was in a bad state, several things were broken, including the towel rack, the toilet paper holder and the bathroom door. Further there was neither hand soap or shower gel available. I did get some dish washer soap though after asking for hand soap. There is wifi at the property but in my room (bottom floor, furthest to the right) the signal was very weak and not usable.

The property looks very nice and the staff members are friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the fan made sleeping easier during hot nights. The property is located a bit away from the beach and the tourist area but I did not mind that. It was quiet and you have some cheap local restaurants around.

If you have wheels then no problem whatsoever. By walking it's quite far from the restaurants etc.

The perfect getaway with a nice local family. The only thing for us was the distance from the beach. It is quite far by walking, which we like to do, but at night time it is not so comfortable. If you have a ride this place is highly recommended!!

The guest house is a bit out of the way, compared to some of the other (more expensive!) options. It's a solid 10-15 minute walk away from the main eating/drinking street, which is a lot when it's on unlit and very wonky streets.

We needed a short stay after landing in Gambia, and found Bajo Kunda which is kinda close to everything, and very cheap. The value for money is super, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful in referring taxis etc.

We had a very nice stay at Bajo Kunda. It's a Basic appartement with everything you need. They are still renovating the place and developing the place. Omar was there when we had a question and tried to make the stay for everyone nice. Generator is there and wifi is good :).

The cleaning lady came in the room and took my toilet bag away with all my medicines in that i needed ! They should better place a basket for rubish so that they don't throw away anything from the clients!! The wifi upstars was very poor. If you want good wifi ask for room downstairs.

The room lack TV screen, and level of the cleaning which I think related to the ongoing work. Full fumigation will be useful to kill the cockroaches or any insects.

I like the staff are very kind and friendly. They were as nice as a pie. There was good internet services as well.
