Hotel was is disrepair. Need lots of work. Not like representation in pictures. Pool was not working. It was dirty and broken. Too much money for what I got. The visa machine was always broken so one had to always pay by cash. This was a rip off as they charged a larger exchange rate.

Got worse every morning. Had less each day for breakfast food. Staff was lovely. Hotel was almost empty.

The pool was closed, the manager not very interested, the breakfast was ok until they tried to feed us old bread and the coffee seemed to be finished. The place is noisy because of the area and the bad isolated room. The rooms lacked a closet and the toilet was nasty This is no 4* hotel. Although it's new, it lacks good management and poor facilities. Thank God for the very nice staff.

The room was spacious, the staff was very nice and the location good. The security guys where the best, always friendly and helpful.

,That is a hard question maybe sometimes in a morning waiting for hot water in the shower.that is the only thing I didn't like but not the end of the world.

I loved how bamboo Village had been set out,I enjoyed every minute of my two weeks in the gambia and I've stayed in a lot of places in the gambia in the past 24 years.

The cleaners take your things Plus the staff are not good with simple maths Would definitely suggest you pay before booking this hotel they took a extra £97 pounds I'm still awaiting refund 😒 Plus no WiFi was off the entire 8 day's I stayed Plus don't order the pizza Would upload a video for everyone that reads this So sorry I'm not able

The resort is in an excellent location, beach is a 5 minute walk. Shops and eats are equally a 5 minute walk. What makes this place so special are the staff, from security to the cleaner. All friendly, helpful and simply nice to be with. A releativly new rresort, lovely pool with exceptional accocomation. Will be back again - Andy

The one boy staff member

The breakfast was very disappointing as one staff member that morning on the 30th January was rude to me as i asked for another egg and he said i couldn't have anymore which made me feel like i was greedy and it upset our stay , we was going to book again but because he was rude to us and the money we paid for one night just to be told no more breakfast for you when we only just started eating

Breakfast could have been more variable, but I saw they were trying to approve that at the end of the week, which is very appreciated.

The property is beautiful and the staff was very nice and helpful. When my TV didn’t work and the pipe in the shower had a hole, they fixed it straight away. Nice area, big bed and nice swimming pool as well.

Management are rubbish. They don’t care. Couldn’t be bothered to buy ink for the printer for 3 days. Reception staff can’t call out on the hotel phone so they needed to use their personal phones to call for COVID test etc. I feel the sadness of staff working their due to management who clearly don’t care for its staff. Breakfast is 2 star, very poor quality. Hotel poor 3 star. It’s 1 year old but looks 5 yrs old. Will not stay again.

I booked this resort online thru booking.com and was given a horrible room in which water was leaking into the room..I had to really complain before moving to a much better room which was more comfy and cozy..I didn't like that they try to make u pay for everything..examples fridge...safe..pay for iron use...They only gave u one cheap roll of toilet paper a day and 1 set of towels..What I didn't like most of all was that they rent to the public to use the pool and have parties..This happened during my stay and it was a complete disaster..Not only was It over compacitated in the middle of a pandemic but they allowed the public to come in and trash the place..Guest had no where to sit it was trash and food all over the place at the end of everything and the just left it like that..I thought that was disgusting for me to have to walk around such filth for the money I spent for the week I was there..I will never stay in their establishment ever again and they also don't have a machine that converts currency which was a Hugh inconvenience..Booking on line told me one price and I paid wayyyy more..pissed me off! The had these huge lizard like things crawling all over the walls..I had many sleepless nights due to this.

We had a bad experience at the start as the taxi we booked with the hotel from the airport charged us double than the stated price. The pool was also out of order the whole time there this should of been communicated at booking so we could have gone somewhere else. A few issues: - To use the safe it’s $6 per day, this is insane to keep your valuables safe, for a fridge in your room it’s even more - Currency exchange and card fees are an extra 5-10% so keep this in mind. - Breakfast is super limited - So many random people just outside the hotel bothering you all the time. The place has a lot of potential but just needs a little refining.

The redeeming feature of the place is the staff and the ducks they were both very nice. The rooms are comfortable and showers are hot, the air conditioning is a welcomed reprieve from the crazy hot weather. The wifi is also good but it was not available in our garden room.

The normal price is 2500 per night. Through booking. Com we paid 1000 dalasi more per night. The swimming pool was out of order so no use of swimming pool. Customers did not know before coming. No compensation. In total we rent 5 rooms for 7, 6 and 5 nights.

Breakfast as you could ask for eggs or pancakes. Unfortunately no fruit every day
