Nothing- it was perfect! :)

I loved my stay! I felt very welcome, the bungalow was very charming and I had everything I needed. The garden with swimming pool was a great relaxing spot. The breakfast was very good and also possible vegan. :) I will definitely come back if I'll visit Guadeloupe again!

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect!

What an amazing place, sad that our plane got cancelled and we stayed only one day instead of the three we had initially planned. But nevertheless the staff was incredibly nice, waited for us at night to give us a welcome and help us getting set-up. The place is absolutely beautiful, waking up in the morning with the sun rising over the ocean was absolutely stunning. We also got the breakfast that morning and loved it! If we ever come back to Guadeloupe we'll for sure stay again :)

Only minus was that there were only one small pillow per person. It would have been nice to have two or at least a more puffy one. Also the toilet was in the room without a door, which was a little inconvenient.

The view, the large balcony, the beautiful pool, the common facilities, the location. We had a fantastic stay there and would love to come back.

Nothing, it all was great.

The hosts Alexandre and Catharine are very very friendly. Nice welcome with drinks and small appetizer, beautiful location, beautiful and cosy room. They took care for our breakfast every day and it was great every day and varied. Also Alexandre made twice our diner which was like having diner in a great restaurant. Catharine took care of the room, it was all very clean and comfortable. We had really a great stay. The swimmingpool was also very nice. Beautiful garden around the accomodation with lovely chickens and birds.

well situated within easy reach of stunning beaches and good restaurants. Beautifully decorated bungalow with natural materials, romantic, private and relaxing. Divine garden setting with view of ocean. Catherine and Alexander are kind and generous hosts. Fantastic breakfast trays brought to your room.

We liked everything!

Loved the well maintained pool area and outdoor lounge! Amazing views of the sea from the property. Charismatic & friendly owner (bilingual - French & English) & family. Within 10 mins of excellent restaurants like L’Otenik, as well as some of the most beautiful beaches we saw in Guadeloupe (like Plaga de la Perle). A paradise! Many thoughtful, small touches throughout.

Personal choice, but we prefer there to be a separate door for the toilet (we knew at the time of booking though). Whilst beautiful to have nature around us, it might be wise to bring some ear plugs if you are a sensitive sleeper as the roosters can be noisy in the mornings.

Really friendly and helpful hosts. The chalets themselves have beautiful views, a gorgeous terrace, everything you need inside, really comfy mattress, and are very private. We adored the breakfast, it was varied and plentiful. We really loved having it on the balcony every morning. The location for us was excellent as a base for exploring Deshaies and around. There was also a lovely little gift soap. The pool was lovely, and an honesty bar very helpful. Great to have parking available, too.

I can't imagine better place for stay! Good location for beaches and exploring Basse-Terre. Restraunts and supermarkets are in short distance with car In carre royal you have everything you need, beautiful view, comfortable room, good bathroom, some kitchen facilities. We haven't got a kitchen, but we have fridge,we can take plates,cups etc from public zone. And available coffee and tea❤️ so if you don't want to cook you will have everything you need to make fast breakfast,for example Owners are the best and super welcome

An absolutely beautiful spot a short drive north of Deshaies. The owners were tremendously friendly and accommodating throughout the booking process and stay, which we really appreciated. The two-bedroom apartment was great and loved that we were right by the pool but had our own private terrace too. Tea, coffee and board games at the pool were a lovely addition and the view from the pool has to be seen to be believed. Stunning. Some restaurants close by but important to note that most of the good places are a short drive away. We found it a great base to explore Basse Terre.

If you’re an American, there are no USB outlets, or US plugs. However, it seems like EVERY property in Guadeloupe is like this. Just be sure to charge your phone in your car, or bring a converter to make a USB outlet from a French plug, and you’ll be all set!

The main street is just down the road, the street noise was not very idyllic. The toilet stands behind the bed, no room separation, we thought that this wasn't quite comfortable.

The bungalow was of sturdy and good quality and furnished with nice taste. Especially the bed was very comfortable. The view from the bungalow was nice, we could see the sea. Good nespresso coffee was available for free.

Peaceful location with great views. Tree cabin was comfortable and well equipped. Hosts very welcoming and helpful during our stay (eg printing out COVID test results) Pool was clean and we had it all to ourselves.
