our extra bed was broken and our youngest did not sleep well, replaced after we mentioned but it should not have been placed in our room in the first place

One of us is vegetarian but after the staff told us that is not a problem we decided to eat in the hotels restaurant anyways. First, our waiter rolled his eyes to the information that I am a vegetarian. Than I got a Quinoa salad instead of the asian noodles with veggies that I ordered without any explanation or asking. I felt very uncomfortable with this situation…Also the waiter did not speak English at all, luckily one of us speaks french.

Just gorgeous landscaping with luxuriant vegetation. Very quiet location. The cuisine was consistently excellent, French dishes with a Caribbean twist. Excellent service too. The room was perfectly decorated with local furniture, lots of rotin , and a large balcony overlooking the magnificent grounds. The king size bed was extremely comfortable too. Tatiana, the manager, and her team, were just fantastic in every area. The whole team was always so friendly and eager to help! Certainly a place to recommend!!

middle of nowhere. need a car and no surrounding area for a walk. good, central base location for seeing island.

The Owner Bertrand challenged the taxi driver who charged me double the amount and had the fare reduced. The Chef is very talented, the food was exceptional.

The pool is very small and can only really fit a couple of people floating around. Plus, its surrounded by trees and plants so you do not get a lot of sun. Basic maintenance is really lacking as we had a broken bathroom door, broken wardrobe door, wonky bathroom mirrors, broken toilet roll holder, flashing light, broken phone and a very odd addition of a blind behind the bed that didnt really fit the window or block out the light. I would suggest that whoever styled this place needs to urgently come back and check its all still as they had imagined it still should be. And on our visit a wedding took place from midday until 7.00pm in the central restaurant with music so loud our door vibrated, but why were we not told at booking or at check in? Instead we discovered a note in the room alerting us that the restaurant would not be available, but in reality both the garden and the pool were really also unavailable, so it would have just been nicer to have been told in person.

Super chic and very stylish with friendly staff and a great breakfast.
