“It's not the best hotel we stayed at, but Andritsaina doesn't offer a lot of choice. (And you definitely don't want to be driving on the mountain roads in the dark! So staying in Andritsaina is your main option after a trip to Bassae.)
The building's modernist architecture makes it an interesting museum piece now. Despite the unpromising appearance of the hotel, room was adequately equipped. Breakfast was better than expected. Andritsaina looks shabby at first, but authentic.
