“For those with a car, this apartment is a great place to stay; it's an hour's drive (through some wonderful scenery) from Heraklion airport and the balcony (which has a table and chairs) offers views of both sea (although not uninterrupted) and mountains. Full directions were given before arrival (although entering villasouthcrete - no spaces - on Google Maps takes you straight there) and key retrieval was easy. The apartment was clean (I did find a receipt behind the bed, but nobody is perfect) and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen (cooking facilities are a mini-oven with two electric hobs). The local area is quiet and it is a short walk from the beach. There is private parking immediately adjacent to the property.”
