The Internet was pretty slow at times but in general was OK.

From initial check in through to checkout the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were bottles of water, sweets or fruit left in the room each day. The European style breakfast was lovely and make sure you have the fresh orange juice. We were leaving early on the day of checkout and they provided breakfast bags to go for us.

Not a thing.

This property was so well located. We walked to everything. The hospitality was tremendous. Lots of little touches everywhere. Kostas was so wonderful to us, always doing little extra things and helping us with our travels. Fresh espresso whenever. Breakfast was amazing. We had a hot tub on our patio. Some rooms have a view of the Acropolis. There’s a tavern across the street making it so easy to end the day with a bottle of Greek wine and olives. We wished we could take the hotel to our next stop - Santorini.

My particular room was on a street where I could hear the chatter from the nearby restaurants. I believe most of them closed around 1a. Now that I know, I suggest asking for a room off the street.

18 Micon is a small boutique hotel in Athens. It is walking distance to a number of restaurants and retail stores. The staff was very polite and even packed us a bag of pastries for our early flight.

Location is perfect, situated in a lively part of the old city full of great cafes and bars. Very cool spot.

The only two things to be aware of are that, of a weekend, the street the hotel is on is very noisy until late at night. This could be the case for the whole area, however on a Saturday and Sunday, music was going next door on the street until gone midnight (nearly 4am on Saturday) and imagine this would be the same on a Friday. Although the hotel provide ear plugs, the room is not sound proof and you can still hear the music and feel the vibrations. Other reviews had mentioned this, but it was a lot louder than anticipated and sadly would not stay at a weekend again for this reason (mid-week, Monday-Thursday would be great). Secondly, in the room we stayed in, the windows are full length and view onto a street so the blinds were largely left shut, which was a shame but otherwise did not have privacy.

Overall our stay here was fantastic. Staff were incredibly helpful with local recommendations and welcome notes, the hotel room was very good, and breakfast was good. In one sense, the location was also fantastic - right in the centre and only a 5 minute walk to Monastiraki square and metro.

It is a little oasis in the middle of a busy part of Athens. Breakfast was excellent, and they even packed us a breakfast for our early flight. The room we had was awesome with a view of the Acropolis. Shower was spacious and the bed the most comfortable of our trip to Greece. They helped arrange transports for us to and from the airport as well. All great things to say!

The street noise!

We loved they always had cookies and deserts in the main reception. The last day of our stay they left in our room a cheese and ham platter with a bottle of wine which was so thoughtful. The location is minutes from the main center.

Im only little and the pillows were too thick giving me neck crick...saying that they were more than happy to change them. So nothing really

The location was excellent surrounded by bars, restaurants and easy walking distance to all the main sites. The buffet breakfast was fabulous and really cute daily delicious little delicacy were left in our room as gifts. Really thoughtful staff. The whole place was stylish, modern and clean.

The WiFi was slow.

Excellent location. The breakfast was rich and tasteful (cold dishes only). the staff was super friendly. The rooms were large and commutable. The shower were hot with good water pressure.

Absolutely nothing.

Fantastic location, close to the metro. Amazing area for food and drinks, real buzz about the place. Staff were so helpful and informative, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was brilliant. Urban looking but with the most comfy bed. The hot tub on the patio was fantastic, such a bonus after a day walking

Not an issue for us, but a few stairs to go up to get the elevator. No closet in our room but lots of hangers and a few hooks.

Everything. Wonderful staff, thank you Eva, Michael and everyone. Fantastic breakfast. Warm and inviting ambience. Lovely reception/lounge area where you can hang out and have a cup of tea/coffee Great location. Such a very comfortable bed. We traveled with a small dog and she was made so welcome and fussed over. Will be our go to hotel in future in Athens!!!

Bathrooms are odd! A full door to the toilet would be a plus. We (a family) had rooms 6 and 7; room 6’s windows were too high up on the wall to see out. We didn’t mind, because we also had the neighboring room.

Wonderful, welcoming staff, and a great location. Breakfasts are very good. Lovely lounge with complimentary refreshments available. We really enjoyed hanging out.
