I was cycling to the accommodation and arrived very late. They left a key out for me to check-in at 1am and provided a huge (and very tasty!) breakfast platter for me to eat when I arrived. Such great service! The room was also lovely and the bed very comfortable. Excellent place to stay!

We had a wonderful time here! The host is really nice, and the room was spacious, clean and modern. Especially breakfast was amazing which we could enjoy in the sun on our balcony with mountain view every morning.

The location is a bit of a downer compared with the nicer villages around Aristi (but we wanted something more accessable). The room is right above the main road which can get a bit noisy but the balcony doors did a great job keeping the noise out. There is no closet or safe in the room.

Although on main road to Check Point at Greece/Albania, property is quiet. Simple but modern accommodation, and luxurious. Stupendous breakfast brought up to room. Certainly very memorable. Only problem is that there is not much room to put the tray and have our breakfast if it rains. Chrysa is very helpful and so is her member of staff. Would recommend the Superior Room at the back of the property, well worth it.

The room was big, modern, clean, had a beautiful balcony with mountain views where we ate a huge breakfest every morning. The staff was great, friendly, helpful. The guesthouse is located at a very convinient location for the National park, and crossroads to Albenia.

The only little thing would be a bigger fridge, especially in summer in Greece that would have helped.

We got an upgrade and it was one of the very rare occassion where you immediatly felt everything is right. The breakfast was offered as room service and custom made to our taste.

The surrounding was simple and noisy. This is not similar to the neture surrounding in traditional Zagoria villages.

The guesthous is brand new, with all the facilities. Breakfast was served to the room,was rich and good. Mini market 2 minues away.

It’s true some road noise can be heard from the front rooms only but it was by no means bad as the property has triple glazing and it did not disturb us. However if you are very sensitive we recommend ear plugs to overcome this.

The property is perfect for us as we regularly visit family in a neighbouring village and we like to have our own space. It’s clean, everything is new and in excellent condition, the beds are comfy, the pillows are comfy, the towels are lovely quality, the bathrooms are very nicely done. The breakfast is absolutely amazing and the owner is so so pleasant and kind. It’s rare to find something like this and we’re so glad we did and look forward to coming back several times a year. You feel very safe here as there is security entrance and cameras in the main areas.

The bed was very comfortable, nice pillows, great AC. The shower was hot and had good pressure. It was a new property / recently renovated, so it had new furniture, beautiful modern design, excellent taste, everything was properly done. Breakfast was exceptional! The owner prepared the breakfast herself and brought if to the room, see picture. The restaurant across the road had amazing suvlaki, must try! The location was straight on the road leading to Vikos Gorge, great starting point to explore. Parking was available on the main road and inside the property. The terrace outside was a good spot to chill for sunset. Theres also a big supermarket across the road with everything you need.

The town of Kalpaka itself is not very attractive. Functional location, good base for undertaking day trips in the area.

Nobody was at the reception!! They communicated by messages. They gave us the worse room in the front side of the hotel on the main road!! We informed them that we would leave very early in the morning but they did not make any alternative proposal.
