Everything, the hotel the staff the breakfast the owners little dog and of course the gardens, the location is half an hours easy walk to the center.

Fantastic hotel, in an old mansion house just outside of Corfu old town, ideal location 10 mins walk from the centre. Staff are so friendly and accommodating, everything is well kept and clean, the room furnishing is fantastic, almost forgot we were in a hotel at times! The breakfast is really good, compliments to the chef. We moved to this hotel later in the week on our trip as our first hotel (Labranda) was terrible and we couldn't couldn't any longer. Acanthus blue really brought a spark to our trip and showed us a completely different side to Corfu. Would return in a flash!

The hotel was super stylish but the real standout for us were the staff - Andreas, Nassos and Elena could not have been more helpful. They were friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome.

This was our third visit to the hotel, which says a lot in itself. The location is perfect, we love the walk into town along the seafront. The building is a beautiful and sympathetic restoration with a simple modern feel that sits naturally with the old. staff are charming and courteous and anticipate your needs, always around but never "hovering". The bedrooms are elegantly simple with useful touches, coffee machine, pillow spray, pure cotton robes,... love the glass drop lights in the bathroom as a nod to the art deco age also linked to the buildings restoration throughout. we love the intimacy of the garden, a lovely way to start the day. Breakfast pastries are delicious and fresh, we particularly loved the local cheese pastry - something local was a nice touch. Great Omelette. Say hello to the previous owners by looking at the wonderful black and white photo in reception on the stand. thank you for a wonderful stay

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The rooms, garden, and common areas have been designed with great attention yo detail - elegant and comfortable. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with pastries, freshly squeezed juice, and a variety of egg choices - omelette, eggs Benedict…, made to order. The hotel is located across from the harbor with old Corfu town a short walk away.

I knew as soon I made my way to the front of the building and saw the bright smiles looking from the kitchen window it was going to be lovely. The staff is impeccable. They are helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Breakfast is so fresh and filling. The rooms are out of this World! You can enjoy the entire island from this location. My only complaint is with myself, I should have booked Acanthus for my entire stay. :(

The ground floor room had no view. Although there were great quality Nuxe products in the bathroom they were in single use non refillable plastic. It would have been nice to have had locally produced more sustainable products with less packaging.

Theo the owner had done a wonderful job developing this lovely old building. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the beautiful courtyard was a lovely place to relax for an evening drink and for breakfast. It was an easy walk to the centre along the sea front. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

That I couldn’t stay longer

The location is perfect, just a short walk into the old town of Corfu. Special mention just go to the beautiful rooms. The owner really does have a great eye. The breakfast was just divine, taken in their Uber relaxing and chic garden courtyard. Faultlless place.

Absolutely NOTHING

Everything about Acanthus blue is exceptional. From the first moment we arrived Andreas took care of us, nothing was too much trouble from organising restaurants, taxis, car hire we were looked after. We have stayed in many Hotels in europe and I would rate Acanthus blue as the very best!! The breakfast was a treat, served by helpful staff in a beautiful setting. Theo and his staff have done a remarkable job in bringing total commitment to customer comfort in beautiful Corfu town. Thanks to our friends in Acanthus blue. A holiday to remember. Our room was a little noisy in the morning but nothing unbearable.

From the moment we arrived we were met with a warm welcome. The room was beautifully decorated with a large bathroom and felt fresh and airy, which is exactly what we needed after a long day of travelling. The staff were exceptional, unpretentious, helpful and observant. Breakfast was generous and catered for all. We will absolutely be back and for longer next time!

Quite noisy on the first floor but we still slept Well. We left at 5am without breakfast - would have been lovely to have a takeaway breakfast bag with croissant or something as nothing was open at Corfu airport so we got on our flight very hungry. Being quite picky with these comments - it is a lovely hotel.

Very big comfy bed - all immaculately clean in the room. Nice Nuxe products in the bathroom. Robes and slippers very welcome. Free mini champagne for our honeymoon was a nice touch. Very helpful staff.
