It's a cheap solution if you just need a place where to stay close to the metro.

On the 3rd day (my friend stayed there for 5 days), the room was sort of cleaned (one of two duvets was taken away) and my friend's phone charger was taken. As explained by the owner, it was mistaken that the guest had been checked out (maybe because my friend kept all his stuff at my apartment) and the cleaner took the charger to the storage room. Eventually, the charger was given back. Interesting that my friend's hygiene products in the closet were still there.

My friends visited me and I needed a cheap extra bed for 1 guest at Viktoria sq. On the arrival day, the owner called and informed me that there was no electricity on the floor and that he could offer another room in Kypseli (10-15 min from the Viktoria sq.). The keys were in the box that needed to be unlocked by a code. I mistaken a number and tried to open it with the wrong code (unsuccessfully). Although it was my mistake, during the call the owner was very rude and didn't hold back from questioning my intellectual capacity. The room in Kypseli was fine, however, farther from the Viktoria metro. The price was low.

The room was very small and dusty like it had been closed for years. There was no bed!!! It was kind of a sofa with a thin super uncomfortable mattress and another structure with the same type of mattress. The pillow was terrible too. I could hardly sleep. There was only one place to connect my charger, but it was the same for the air conditioning, that was needed. The bathroom was smelly, there was nothing to clean the hands or anything. And the kitchen was dirty, the oven had never been cleaned.

The owner gave me detailed instructions for the Check-in. There was good security for the apartment. The balcony was beautiful with a nice view of the Acropolis.

The room is supposed to be a no smoking room, but it smells badly like smoke. The "bed" is stained and has a burn hole. Only half of the stove is working and the tables in kitchen are sticky. No soap in the bathroom. The room is in an appartment in a different house than the address indicated on booking.com. I took pictures to prove it. It seems that the guy that is renting the room is in Cyprus (that's what he told the elderly Greek lady that helped us). I informed the guy that is renting the room that I have a problem with my 15 years old mobile phone and that I have problems with my legs. I also told him that we don't have an internet connection and don't use any messengers. He answered that he found me on Viber and that I have to open my account. I only tried Viber more than a year ago on a device of a friend and haven't used it since that time. When we arrived, I send 3 SMS to the guy to inform him that we are in front of the door. After a while he called me, but I couldn't understand much because of the traffic noise (there is a lot of traffic on Acharnon Street). He told me that he would cancel our reservation because we couldn't communicate (he said that I didn't speak any English or Greek even though I have certifications stating that I speak both languages well) and that we should look for a hotel. That was after 8 p.m. and that area is not safe at night. At the end an elderly lady helped us. She also told that guy that we could't find a hotel and that I had problems with my legs. I had to stand more that 45 minutes till finally somebody came to give us the key. My legs were hurting and we where very tired from our trip.
