Lots of mosquitoes, and since there wasn't a net on the toilet window, lots of them had entered the apartment even before we arrived cus the window and all doors were open.

The breakfast! It was so tasty and so much variety! Also, the fact that you can have breakfast on your own balcony looking at the sea/mountain was great! The apartment was spacious and the staff was lovely! Really clean and neat!

- Very easy check in: our host, Katerina was at the reception when we arrived and she welcomed us and walked us to our room. - Amazing breakfast: Having your breakfast brought into your room is what makes your holiday to feel even more as a holiday. There are 3 breakfast options and you can switch between them. We are very picky when it comes to food and still found the breakfast diverse, tasty and enough to start off your day. - Cleanness: everything was sparkling clean and it looked new. Our room has been cleaned daily and the cleaning lady was very attentive and beside charging the towels daily, she was also replacing our bathroom amenities whenever needed and without us having to ask for it. - The bathroom - here what I mostly liked was the shower: great water pressure, it took about 5 seconds for the water to come hot, and also the draining worked perfectly. - Even if we didn't use it, the kitchenette was quite well equipped. - The bed was comfy and so were the pillows. - The balcony has plenty of space and there was also a clothes dryer - which was very useful. - The place is very near the sea and there are 2 or 3 beaches less than 5 minutes away. - The pool is amazing: 1.4 m depth everywhere and not very crowded. - The blinds could block all the sunlight. - The entire place: I was a bit concerned that the photos might be outdated, but I was pleased to see everything looked exactly like in the photos. EVERYTHING! The place is decorated in a minimalist fashion, but with much taste. You can see the attention paid to the details and how everything was thought through and planned carefully. I would like to end this review by thanking Katerina for being an amazing host. We appreciate everything you did with the place, how you always have a smile on your face, how you welcomed us and accommodate our requests, the conversations we had and altogether the way you made us feel while being at Aelia. Thank you! Hope we'll see each other again :)

This was a really wonderful stay. Katerina is so welcoming that you immediately feel like home. Having such a good breakfast served every morning in the room was also a plus, as we were able to eat on the terrace, with the amazing sea view. Cleaning is done very thorough every day, absolutely everything is spotless. If we ever come again to Thassos, we'll definitely stay here again :) Katerina, you are amazing!!!

The room was a little dark as there was not much daylight tht got in. However, the terrace made up for this - we didn't want to spend time inside anyways.

The welcome was very friendly and we were shown to the room personally by the host. She showed us the room and explained how to order breakfast. She was very welcoming!

The apartment is very cozy, stylish and nicely equipped, with big terrace. The hotel is located near the port and beach. It is close to the tavernas, so you receive all the pros of the location without all of the noise and inconveniences of a crowd of tourists. The host is the nice and welcoming girl. All equipment in the apartment is new. Cleanliness at the highest level. The rooms are cleaned every day, as well as new bed linen and towels.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aelia Villa. The host, Katerina, is awesome, she helped us with everything we needed. Professional, warm and always with a smile on her face.The same applies for the staff, very nice. Room service, tasty breakfast, nice atmosphere overall in the complex. We liked that it is a quiet place, close to supermarkets and restaurants.

The sofas are not as comfortable as the bed, but I suppose that is to be expected. It was quite noisy, impossible to leave the balcony door open, which was inconvenient for us, as it was too hot otherwise.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable, very clean and has everything you need for a good vacation. The host is amazing, ready to be of assistance at anytime. The property is very close to a good beach. Big balcony, with great view. Very good breakfast.

The villa is beautiful. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, staff was amazing and always very nice. The breakfast was served in your room, which was very convenient. It was diverse and always tasty. The hotel is only about 10 minutes away from the city center and 2 minutes away from a gorgeous beach. Thank you Katerina and the staff for making us feel welcomed and at home.

Unfortunately, the bath is rather small, especially the shower area. There's a glass that you can swing back and forth in order to get under the shower, but overall it will be slightly inconvenient if you are a bigger person and need more space. The walls are also rather slim or at least they don't isolate the noise very well. If you have noisy neighbors (who love to move stuff around early in the morning), then you might find this rather uncomfortable. We were lucky that the guys next to us were quiet and only started making noise around 8-ish, which is somewhat reasonable, considering breakfast is served at 8.30 the earliest.

The three main things I liked about this place (in no particular order): 1) The location - just at the end of the city, it's perfect for those of you who want to explore the island. It literally takes you 30 seconds from the main road to the fork, where you can turn right for the West side of the island or left for the East side. It's incredibly convenient that you don't have to go through the entire town. Also, there's a pretty big two-stories supermarket (Masoutis) with tons of discounts (ask the cashier to apply it for you), as well as Lidl (if you want to stick to what you know). There's a nearby beach, but we never went to it, as there are so many better beaches on the island. 2) Cleanliness - the rooms were absolutely spot-on. All of our towels were changed daily and we got new shampoo bottles every day. The cleaning girls were also cleaning the yard every single day, wiping every single sunbed. 3) The host - Katerina was probably the best host we've ever had. Incredibly nice, helpful, and kind. She made sure to show us all the places we needed to visit on the map (circled them), gave us some tips and throughout the entire vacation she was nothing short of the perfect host. I don't think I can praise her enough.
