Room 107 (on the top floor, with a large terrace and jacuzzi) was a dream. Extraordinary view, top apartment. The staff and the owners are very friendly. Very rich and tasty breakfast.

Please know the views vary greatly for the delux studios. We were given 105 on the 2nd floor which I highly recommend. Although the bathroom is tiny and you only have a plastic shower cutain, the space is good.The wow views on the website were only from the very top level which we were told was a 2 bedroom unit. There is no check in desk, bar or lounge like a hotel but rather, a small unit complex with someone meeting you to let you in. We missed a friendly face and staff to connect with but that is what it is!

Although tricky to find, the units sit high on the hill overlooking the little beach. The studio apartment is clean and comfortable with a lovely deck to sit and take in the scenery. Parking is also at the property which is handy in the area. Just a short steep staircase takes you to a lovely sheltered beautiful little beach...beautiful.

A bit hard to get to.

We liked the proximity to the small town of Bali, at a short walk to restaurants and shops. Also some nice beaches were very close letting us take a set in the first row early in the morning. The hotel facilities were nice.

We didn't do any cooking but if we had, we would have needed a few more items available in the kitchen for cookware and utensils to prevent scratching on the cookware provided.

We were super impressed by how well finished the apartment was. It is newly built and beautifully designed. We only did breakfast one morning of our stay and it was fantastic.

washing machine was available but was shared by all guests and had to be coordinated. we had 2 rooms but only one had a drying rack on patio, both rooms advertised beach view but for one room view was blocked by trees, rooms only came with one key, steep hill and narrow street required us to park our larger vehicle at restaurant, breakfast is served at restaurant and did not start until 9 so we could only enjoy it 1 of our 3 mornings there - owner was nice and did not charge us for days not used.

clean modern new facilities, owner super friendly, fresh fruit and wine upon arrival was a treat, discounts offered on beach chair rental and restaurant run by same owner, great variety of tasty options for breakfast

I would say the bathroom was a bit small but everything else was really great.

Modern and new apartments on a steep hill in Bali port but really close to the beach(keep in mind if you have mobility problems) Really comfortable beds, 2 types of pillows, blackout curtains, so you will have a guaranteed good night sleep. Really clean. Bonus you have beach towels. Breakfast is served at the taverna with the same name, where you also have beach chairs and the food is amazing. Ate there almost everyday and everything we tried was delicious. Staff amazing and friendly. Definitely recommend this location.

I didn't not like anything but if I had to be picky I would say that there are large high spec televisions in each room,but we couldn't work them couldn't find any English channels,didn't know how Netflix worked as was all in Greek.no instructions Also and this is nothing to do with the hotel but the little train that basically is essential travel(the only transport) never runs on time or keeps breaking down so sometimes days planned get spoilt as it only runs hourly

The apartment was beautiful, view 2 die for room 107. Comfortable and modern high spec facilities, air con was great as it was very much needed throughout our stay. Akrogiali hotel is beautiful and cleaned to a high standard daily Akrogiali restaurant food was fantastic and it was lovely to meat the family,very professional but also warm and friendly, always give a warm welcome. The squid grilled was highly recommended and my family loved it. Plenty activities on the beach,always sunbeds. Cretan evening was brilliant everyone welcome locals and tourists long tables,food dancing and drinking normally until 3.00am the Greeks know how 2 party. Giorgos Lironis and his daughter were on hand to deal with any situation professionally and quickly. We will be returning again (it's my happy place)

We loved everything.

Everything was brilliant. What a fantastic family fun business. The owner and family were so friendly and so welcoming. Their staff are amazing as well. We were there for a family wedding and the owners wife drove us to the pick up to get the wedding bus. The rooms are modern and exceptionally clean. And the food at their taverna was outstanding. If you want a traditional Greek holiday but staying in a modern room it is the perfect place to stay.

The only downside was the stairs though there is a road way that you could go up but the welcome we received had us forgetting about them, well almost.

The location was a couple of minutes walk to the beach and just a little longer returning depending how fit you were feeling. The owners are so welcoming, also owning a taverna by the beach they couldn't be better.

Nothing- it is on a steep hill for anyone with mobility issues.

Very good location with lovely view over the town - if you choose a sea view room. Excellent breakfast at the taverna and discounts on sun beds and other meals too. The owner George is extremely hospitable and his daughter Elena does an amazing job of communicating and managing the property. Slight hitch with the letting agent was resolved without any worry. Only a smart TVs with Netflix would improve the experience - but you’re on holiday so “don’t worry”

There was no sea view from our room, even though we had booked one. Nevertheless, it’s always a pleasure to look at the wonderful mountains!

This small hotel was everything I expected. The rooms are super clean, welcome fruits, water and wine from the hotel surprised us. The breakfast at Agrokiali taverna was excellent!

Unfortunately this place wasn't as good as we expected. Don't trust Google maps. It still show wrong road how to reach by car. Even if you inform your arrival time, then you still have to call as noone is waiting for you there. Communication is a problem. There is some "office" between owner and customer, so some communication should be done directly, some communication through the office. It should be more easy for customer. The room itself doesn't have sea view. It's just small part of the beach area. So, it should be definately corrected in description. The storage of your stuff is an issue. There are no closet shelves, convinient place for luggage. The bathroom is really small and could be an issue for bigger person. There is only one key, so sharing is not very convinient. The breakfast selection was very limited. People are different and it will be much better if each visitor can choose from predefined selection and order. Currenly - slices of bread, ham, cheese, tomato, cucumber; fried eggs without any pecon or sauseges seemed strange. No any fresh fruit. No fresh juice. No any sweet (only one greek yogurt for sharing). We had big misunderstanding regarding breakfast. It was solved in impolite way. All issues should be solved and discussed immidiately, not informing customer at leaving day. We will not come back to this place again. It was just our experience...

The room is nice, clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. AC is working well. Good for short stay without breakfast. Cleaning lady is very friendly.

The personal killed the good vibes. You didn't feel welcome and they weren't as friendly as we expected. The path to the hotel is very steep and not accessible for children. The breakfast was not Greek ok, but it wasn't even delicious.

The room was very nice, comfortable, and clean even if the room was not cleaned every day. The beach is not far away but only for activities not really for swimming. The family Tavern was yummy and the price was good, even if the place is very touristic. They organized a taxi for us from Heraklion.
