Everything was perfect! Manos was very great and accommodating. The room was beautiful and the pool and lawn area was perfect for relaxing.

Not so much a 'didn't like' as it's a preference of taste, however the pool in our suite wasn't heated so it was very cold which meant we didn't spend much time in it. However, Mara told us that two of the four suites are heated and the other two will be by next year. It really wasn't a big problem for us though and for others the cool temperature might be very welcome after the heat of the sunshine.

We travel to the Greek Islands a lot and are always impressed with the warm hospitality, so we were naturally expecting a warm welcome which was, indeed, received. This trip completely exceeded our expectations however, and if there are more accommodating and friendly hosts than Mara and Manos then I would be very intrigued to meet them! From our first connection right until the moment we left, they were very responsive, friendly and informative and couldn't do enough to help us. From booking a fantastic restaurant on our wedding anniversary, to a lovely welcome basket on arrival and even a surprise breakfast treat on our patio on one morning, right to accommodating us for a very late check out, they were absolute stars from beginning to end! Thank you to you both for making our first wedding anniversary one to remember! The accommodation was spotless, the beds very comfortable and all of the furniture and devices etc very modern. The outdoor space also very nice. You're a short walk away from restaurants, bars, and nightlife however far enough away to be quiet at night (all I could hear was the peaceful sound of the crickets!)

We had a wonderfull vacation at AKU Suites. 😊👌 The house is modern and very nicelly decorated. Everything works perfectly and the pool area is clean and lived up to our expectations. Everything was just perfect but not the best thing about AKU Suites!! The best thing about AKU Suites is the owners. Mara and Manos are the most nice, caring, service minded and lovely hosts you will ever get.!! They did everything to make our vaccations unforgettable and helped us with everything from car rental, excursions and gave us recommendations on places and restaurant to visit. We can without a doubt give AKU Suites and especially Mara and Manos the best recommandations ever!!

Amazing combination of elegance and comfort with a beautiful private pool. The accommodation was very clean with a pleasant smell. The owners Mara and Manos are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always attending to your needs with a smile and advising you on everything. Beautiful appartment has everything you need including washing machine which was great after island hopping. Fantastic hosts left us prosseco and even dropped off olives cheese cakes and homemade booze when he found out it was a birthday. Highly recommended would definitely stay again.

Absolutely recommend stay in a cosy suit. The accommodation is new, modern, clean and has everything you would need, thought through to the tiny details. It was quite and felt private along all the way. It is only a short walking distance to the next beach. Mara and Manos did a great job as friendly hosts making every request of ours happen. We enjoyed their restaurant recommendations as well as all other local hints. Thank you for making our stay lovely!

We stayed in the property for 7 nights and absolutely loved it! Manos and his wife were so helpful, anything we needed we just sent a message and they got back to us straight away. We felt they couldn’t do enough for us. Really appreciate it! The property offers everything you need and more. It was very clean, clean and comfy bed, clean towels and sun bathing towels. There is a washing machine and detergent for you to do your own washing. The TV is a smart TV so you have Netflix, YouTube, Disney. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed. Toaster, kettle, microwave etc. The bed was very comfy, the pillows were the nicest pillows ever. The bathroom was very clean, very big! The garden was kept so well, the plants were so pretty to look at. The pool was a nice temperature. The suite was designed so well and furnished with amazing decor. We loved absolutely everything about it. The location was ideal! You really are in the centre of everything. We walked to many locations. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to return.

These apartments are just stunning. You can tell Mara and Manos put their whole heart into making this place special. And it is. The interior is well chosen and really clean. The rain shower is a dream (Germans who live in an Altbau know why: shower pressure) The outside and gardening is also really stunning and our stay was so enjoyable. Mara and Manos are also the best and most kindest hosts we have ever met. We received a welcome basket with delicious stuff. Especially the orange biscuits were simply amazing. They were so amazing that I texted Mara to find out where I can buy these cookies. 15 mins later Manos was knocking on our door with another package of these cookies, since they are not sold at a store. Manos and Mara always asked us if we need anything and their service was excellent. One day they even got us some pastries that were really delicious and at our check out we received a goodbye gift. Keep in mind Aku suites is an apartment complex (4 Apartements) and not a hotel. But Mara and Manos managed to provided a service and place that is even better than most of the 5 star hotels.

Great place to stay! Newly build and modern suites with private swimming pools! We stayed in the superior suite which has heated swimming pool and we didn't regret our choice. The complex is extremely clean and the host super kind and helpful. The suites are located in a quite place and very close to the Malia-Stalis beach road where you can find plenty of restaurants, shops and the beautiful beach. Is also walking distance from the Malia old village.

We had wonderful stay in AKU suites! Down to the last detail suite had everything we needed. The suite was even better than in the pictures, it is brand new, very nice design, so clean and so Comfortable! We were staying in Superior suite with heated pool, we were glad that we choose the suite with heated pool since it was still April and at this time of the year you really appreciate the heated pool. It is conveniently located near several beaches, restaurants and shops, but a bit further away from all the action, which is quite nice. The hosts were so nice and responsive and were accessible to any question we had. Gave us great tips for places to visit and restaurants to try. We will definitely be back again, and the "Value for money" is guaranteed!

The water in the private tank is frozen, we had to add money for it, and it didn't help the water to be hot either, the location of the room is very far from the center and requires a car rental
