excellent breakfast, very kind and polite hotelier, the location is excellent. if I were to return to Symi I would certainly choose it.

The room was spotless and cosy. Comfortable bed and very quiet. Had a cute balcony overlooking the narrow street. Nikos was the most friendly, helpful and hospitable person you could ever meet. He met us off the ferry and showed us where to explore in the little time we had on the island. Breakfast was lovely, fruit, yoghurt , bread and other goods from the bakery, bought fresh that morning. We would love to come back and spend more time on this special island with these wonderful people.

The perfect spot for our time in Symi. The room had everything we needed, breakfast was delicious (ft lactose free items), great local food and day trip recommendations and the perfect host who was on hand to answer all questions and share a beer with - thank you Nicolas.

No complaints at all!

The Albatros is up a narrow side street just off the main street running round the bay so a very central location. It only has 4 rooms I think, so the only staff we met was the owner who couldn't have been more helpful. He met us off the ferry and took us to the hotel. Once settled in, he explained what there was to see locally and where the bus to Pedi Beach ran from and suggested a good restaurant for us to eat at just off the main square. His breakfast was 5 star - lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt, savoury and sweet pastries, eggs and cheese and excellent coffee.

The breakfast was excellent and generous including fresh fruit, eggs, yogurt, bread, jam, fresh coffee, ... The host was friendly and willing to share information about restaurants, locations around the island, coffee shops, what each beach is like, best ways to travel, etc. The room was very clean and included a private balcony with table and chairs and a convenient clothes drying rack.

I liked every details. Very good location, very clean rooms, Nikolas was very friendly, generous and helpful. He also gave local tips. If we visit Symi again, I will definitely stay in Albatros.

Nothing, everything was awesome.

The location was perfect, in the center but not in a very noisy street. The balcony was awesome, it was small but very cute and peaceful, it was nice to sit and read a book there. The room was ok and well designed, it was old style which we loved. Very clean also... The breakfast is very nice, there were a lot of fruits, it was nice to eat something fresh in mornings. Niko took us from the port, he helped everything and he recommended some places to go in terms of our interests. We thanked him a lot, it was very nice to be his guest in Albatros and very exciting to hear his stories. Thank you very much for everything! I hope we can come next summer too <3

Nothing really,room was perhaps a little smaller than we had anticipated but didn’t cause any issues.

Albatross was situated in the town near to the harbour .It was in a quiet location.Nicolas the owner was extremely personable and helpful..for example picking us up from where our ferry docked and when we left taking our luggage down to the port. Our room was spotless on arrival and was cleaned thoroughly each day .Breakfast was fantastic..lovely choice of fresh fruit,eggs,bread,etc..we didn’t feel the need to eat again until the evening!A lovely convivial stay..thank you to you all!xx

The wifi didn't work in our room. In the dining room it was very fast though.

Amazing location in the old town. Breakfast was filling and tasty. Nicolas was an excellent host, he met us at the port and also arranged a van to take us to the port when we left. Also stored luggage for us.

Location in the center of town, close to restaurants, shops, but in quite street. Nice view. Cosy room and common areas ( breakfast, lobby…). excellent breakfast and very hospitable host Nikolas sharing a lot of information about island(s). Always helpful! I will for sure select the same apartmenf shen coming next time.

Leaving the Albatros Hotel

My stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend the Albatros Hotel to anyone requiring accomodation on Symi.The owner Nicholas couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable even coming to make me an early breakfast on departure morning and carrying my suitcase to the ferry on his scooter.EXCELLENT !!

what’s not to like?

This is a real find. Only 3 rooms. Personable, knowledgeable host. Great location in central Symi but relatively quiet. Balconies! Varied breakfast with eggs, fruit, pastries, yoghurt. Superclean and great wifi!

Location If you go to Symi go there its an experience you will never forget.
