There’s nothing to dislike about Alea!

WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT ALEA APARTMENTS! Simos and Mumma Mi were incredibly hospitable during our stay! They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived - great location, restaurant and beach recommendations and history lessons and even organised a hire car for us. Would highly recommend staying here - Simos and Mumma Mi are the reason we loved Paros as much as we did.

I have no words to describe how perfect was our stay at Alea! Location is very convenient for those who take the bus from Parikia and just a 5-minute walk to Naousa center. The room is big, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the room or in the common areas. But the best part was the hospitality. I felt part of the family of Simos and Maria. Also, they gave us the best advices and tips to enjoy the island. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Alea Apartments offers everything you want when traveling. The accommodation is very comfortable with most rooms offering water views. What makes this place special is the hosts. Both Simos and Maria (mother and son) are the most generous and friendly host we encounter over our 5 weeks. 6 Greek islands visit. The breakfast is simply amazing. We stayed 6 days with each morning being greeted with a hand delivered basket full of Greek goodies. As soon as you arrive to check in you are greeted by this most humble and generous family. Simos, takes the time to give you a detailed overview of what to do and see while in Paros. Once Maria sees you she welcomes you with the biggest smile and open arms. The walk into town is an easy 700 meters. The complex offers excellent free car parking which is a real bonus.

Alea Apartment hosts Simos and (Mama) Maria were absolutely outstanding. Possibly the best part of our Greece trip! They could not have been more welcoming. The apartments are lovely, in a great location and every day a delicious breakfast is provided. On top of that, Simos gave us the best local recommendations so that we had the most special trip. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

There was nothing we didn’t like, but a small fan would’ve been an added bonus in the bedroom at night.

Everything! Location was close to town without being too loud. The view was wonderful. The apartment well equipped and clean. The hosts were some of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve encountered in all of our travels. You will never go hungry with Mama Maria around!

We were collected from the port by Simos, who gave us a very warm welcome. He told us about the area and the island (he has a vast knowledge). He recommended activities and restaurants according to our needs and likes. The accommodation is comfortable and Maria is a darling. You leave feeling like family :)

We searched for something less than perfect but we could not find anything! :)

We loved this property and got a nice local experience of Paros. Simos was a wonderful host helping us plan excursions, places to eat and transfers etc. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Delightful breakfast each day with local produce. The property was a short walk from Naoussa. We hired a car for a few days which was a great way to explore the island. Bottom line, if you go to Paros stay here!

As a hot sleeper I struggled in what was peak Greek summer, the air con couldn't keep the room with the double bed cool enough for me to comfortably sleep. This is offset by the small single beds in the room with the aircon unit, once I moved into there I slept with no issues.

The most genuine and hospitable hosts I've ever come across, it's like staying at Yiayia's house. They upgraded our accommodation due to a cancelation and constantly offered advice, food and drinks. Location was a brief and easy stroll into town.

The shower is quite small and there is no ledge to put your toiletries. It was inconvenient but wouldn’t stop me from staying there again!

Very well located, only a 10 min walk into the city centre where you have shops, bars and restaurants and the bus stop. Also walking distance to a lovely beach. Maria and Simos were incredibly hospitable and gave us plenty of great recommendations. The room was clean and watching the sunset from the balcony was incredible.

EVERYTHING was outstanding. Alea is the most beautiful example of excellent hospitality from Simos and Mama María. I would rather stay in this beautiful, clean, fresh apartment than in any 5 star hotel in the world. Simos’ map of the island with all the recommendations was perfect for our 4 days and Mama María kept us fed, caffeinated and smiling every day. The breakfasts were stunning and clearly made with love and care using local ingredients that changed every day. It was great to be able to take an umbrella for the beach. Everyone should experience Naousa from Alea!

That we had to leave :-(

We have stayed in numerous hotels in many different places because of work, life, etc. We can honestly say that we have never been this treated this well anywhere, ever. We were not treated like another pair of guests passing through - we were treated like family. Upon arrival hours earlier than our check in time, Mama Maria took me by the arm and guided my wife and I to snacks and drinks. After turning down a gracious ferry port pickup that was offered over text, we finally got to meet Simos to go over what Paros had to offer. He was interested in what we wanted to see and do and had the best recommendations. He also offered to give a tour of the church in Parika (DO IT!). What ensued was an evening we will never forget, and goes to show what true open-hearted kindness looks like. The breakfast chats with Natasha (what a breakfast!). Maria making us laugh in passing every time with her tireless warmth. And Simos somehow finding the time in his crazy schedule to make sure not only we were taken care of, but every guest staying there as well. Its a true shock to the system to see how lovely and hospitable this family can be ( which also includes Simos’ father, Aristides!) Thank you so much for your time and energy. We miss you all and Alea very very much.
