A very pleasant resort in a very quiet part of the island, but at the same time only 5 minutes by car to the center of Skyros. Great and high quality apartment with a great little pool and terrace. A beautiful small and quiet beach with its own umbrellas. Great breakfast and dinner in a stylish restaurant (traditional Greek cuisine in a modern concept) and very friendly and kind staff. We really enjoyed our stay at Alero and would love to come back again sometime.

Manager's inability to resolve a security issue with the room. Specifically, the door downstairs couldn't lock.

This is one of the most comfortable, relaxing hotels at which I have ever had the pleasure to stay. The rooms are well equipped and finished to a high standard, customer service is excellent, & the breakfast makes you feel very special.

Very peaceful beautiful location. Lovely big and clean rooms, well equipped with a kitchenette. Great food, very delicious breakfast. Staff exceptionally friendly and kind - they really helped us make the most of our stay by organising activities for us like horse riding and bike rental so we could explore the island.

Window shades need to be somehow adjusted. Morning light might be an issue for those sensitive...

Excellent location, quiet 'private' beach, prompt service (with a smile always), the restaurant/bar probably one of the 2-3 best on the island!

My family and I traveled to Greece this summer and we traveled to 7 different destinations - from Athens, Skyros, Mykonos, Paros... and this was one of our favorites! The hotel and it's owners are fantastic. The location is perfect and the rooms and new and clean. I give a tremendous amount of credit to the staff as well - they ALL went above and beyond to make our stay ideal. Thank you for everything and we will certainly be back!

Nothing, we loved everything!

We loved everything about this hotel! The exceptional detail to the design both externally & internally. The beautiful gardens, restaurant, bar and beach. The wonderful staff, always smiling & incredibly obliging. Absolutely delicious food & a great selection of wine. We cannot fault Alero, it’s an outstanding hotel!

Plastic straw at the restaurant, I hope these can be changed. Also, being a new hotel I think they are still trying to get up to speed and become more client focused. The cleaners didn’t speak Greek and I think require some training… We requested for the rooms not to be cleaned due to some health issues and covid risks in the family. We had the do not disturb on but it’s not visible enough during the day (small red light). The cleaners got in the room to make the beds, move personal belongings, close shower gel etc (but not provide new one) and apparently they even reported that we took away beach towels at check-out. For a hotel of this price and after having visited over 60 countries, I didn’t expect to be accused of packing (or stealing) beach towels…

New hotel, very nice rooms and facilities, convenient location. Clean, comfortable next to the beach. Very nice interior design and attention to detail in the rooms. I loved the fact that breakfast was a la caste, not buffet. More sustainable and great selection of breakfast dishes.

Set just on a plot just off Molos Beach this boutique hotel is the ultimate in privacy. We booked a deluxe suite with plunge pool, and had a large bedroom with mini-kitchen, well appointed shower-room and even a mini-gym. Ample parking was available within the hotel grounds. Breakfast was cooked to order, and included offerings such as Eggs Benedict, Eggs with Skyrian cheese, Greek yogurt with honey, traditional breads, juices and coffees. Supper was equally impressive, with our choice of lamb on mousseline potatoes being perfectly cooked.

It was all amazing, wish we had more days but we will be back!

We were looking forward to the 25th of March break and we looked for somewhere closed to Athens. It was the first time we visited the island and it was amazing! We really liked the Hotel, the staff were very attentive and looked after anything that we needed. Gave us great tips of places to visit and what to do around. The room is really big, bright, comfortable and the bed is WOW! Breakfast was an experience on itself, tasty and more than plenty. The Hotel is new, on a wonderful location right by the beach, we went walking on the afternoon by the sea and its very close to the island main village and port. We are definitely going back during summer!

Best place to swim nearby is Molos with many restaurants. The hotel plans a pier into the sea which will develop swimming there. Car recommended

This is an exceptional and exquisite hotel, a great place to unwind. Run by two sisters, it newly opened in 2021, with superb architecture which mixes modern with classic. The rooms have high quality furniture and finishes. Breakfasts under the old olive and fig trees are lavish and lovely. The hotel plans to build a pier on the beach, which will be a great addition. The Molos beach with its numerous restaurants is nearby. Very highly recommended.
