Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaNothing we loved this place maybe a king bed would be better but seriously this is a fantastic hotel run by a fantastic family.
George, Alexandros, Maria were all the best hosts I have experienced. Their service was exceptional and catered for all our needs. The room was excellent and seriously appreciated the hot tub upgrade, thank you George. We loved Milos and is our best island in Greece and can't wait to come back.

South AfricaNo complaints, though the walls felt a little thin at times in regards to our room specifically. That’s really all though.
I underestimated how much I was going to enjoy a complimentary breakfast every morning, really takes the stress off planning 3 meals a day. Not to mention the staff were super friendly and professional, subtle and efficient. Made for a great stay to end off our honeymoon and wish we could have stayed longer. Facilities are clean and neat, rooms are well equipped and environment is nicely decorated. Really liked the pool area as well when we were beached out.

Breakfast was plentiful with much to chose from. Family run hotel and the woman at breakfast detailed what was offered that day along with espresso and cappuccino. The pool area was comfortable and the rooms spacious.

IrelandThe breakfast could definitely be better. We stayed for 6 days and having the same choice for breakfast every morning can be a bit bland. No hot food available. No bar onsite to get cold beverages or drinks when lounging by the pool.
Great location getting to all the touristy spots and the close to the port. Having a car or a motorbike is definitely a must if you are staying in the area. George and Alexandro were very attentive and very helpful. All the staff were all very friendly. Our room was very spacious and cool. We didn't need to use the air conditioning at all which was great. Fresh towels every day was a bonus. Easy to use the jacuzzi also.

United StatesParking. The roads to get there are up hill. Was hard to enjoy the pool due to the mosquitos.
The rooms were excellent. Best mattress I slept on in Greece. Loved that when we would go to breakfast, that’s when they would clean our rooms and leave towels. Staff went out of their way!

United Arab EmiratesIf you don't have a car you have to catch the bus and walk a little bit.
Alexandro was most attentive and kind during our stay. The village is a bit isolated, which is great if you want to disconnect. If you have a car, it's near to everything on the island. Buffet breakfast was great and a big saver for us.

First, George gave us a very helpful introduction to the place and Milos with a map. Then, we got into our room, its not that big but it is cozy and warm; the bed is so COMFY! We also found a complementary wine for us which was so sweet! The breakfast is so nice with the 2 ladies there , always helpful and always wanting to serve us with more. Overall experience, if you go to Milos, you go to Alexandros Village!

Great location, just outside Adamas, and with bus stops outside. Free shuttle to and from ferry was a bonus. The staff were very responsive when I asked for a mattress topper, I just needed a bit of padding for dodgy hips, rather than the beds not being comfy. The room was cleaned every day with new towels provided and was spotless.

Great! The mother of the two brothers (owners) was responsible for the breakfast and it was great! Super friendly and helpful. Also, they provided free transport from and to the port, which was really convenient. The two brothers are really friendly and took their time to arrange scooter / ATV transport and explain EVERYTHING about Milos which you need to know. Go HERE!

United KingdomNo chair in the room. No milk for coffee in the room. Not good if walking is a problem but you can get a taxi or bus down to the port or hire a car which they do inform you before booking.
The family at the Apartments were very helpful and stayed in contact with us. Transfers from the port and airport were free of charge. When we couldn't get a taxi one evening down to the port they took us down free of charge.

United StatesThe grounds are tiered and could be amazing. The astro turf around the property really is dated and unpleasant to look at. Stone would be a better touch...there's plenty of it.
Nice location and near plaka and the north side beaches. Our room had the jacuzzi and is was awesome and could control the temperature and jets etc. Very relaxing. The view of the hillsides were nice as well from the jacuzzi. The room was spacious but the bed was quite hard. Breakfast buffet was mostly a continental but provided all the veggie stuff we needed. The lady who runs it is a dynamo. She is awesome. Hope they keep her. Wifi was fast and streaming!

CanadaThe shower floor is quite slippery. It might be a good idea to have a anti-slip mat to avoid accidents.
Friendly and informative staff. They gave all the info on best beaches, restaurants and tours in the area. They always have a big smile on their face. There is strong wifi coverage. The hotel provided us with beach towel daily. The breakfast was simple but very delicious. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Everything about this property is amazing! It is family owned and everyone is beyond kind. They helped organize our car rental and gave us a lot of tips on what to do on the island. The two ladies running breakfast are wonderful! On the day of departure we had to leave very early and they made sure to send us off with some food.
