We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomReading lights on bed head didn’t work. Shower was powerful but from a mixer tap and kept flipping up. Just needed tightening. Apart from that great value for the money.

Australiadidn’t realise how far away from Heraklion the hotel was! at least 2 hours by car! unfortunately we had ants in our room - I spoke to receptionist but nothing was done.

United KingdomThe name was different to what was stated and it caused a lot of stress to find it. Breakfast was meant to be included, but my friends had to leave too early for it. Staff was quite unfriendly when they asked for morning tea. Somehow communication was obviously disturbed. When i rang a day later i was also spoken to in an impolite manner.
I booked this for two friends just for a night before departing from airport. They said the room was lovely and suitable.

The view from my room was second to none in this area……stunning panoramic views of the whole bay. Swimming pool is top class. Very spacious area around hotel with lovely gardens. spacious room with balcony. Peaceful and quiet hotel…… ideal for a relaxing holiday.

ItalyThe hotel is really nice and has potential but is neglected. We found towels and bed sheet dirty. The air condition has few setting, so is difficult to reach ideal temperature and is impossible to sleep with window open because missing mosquito net and more than one time we found some flies and bees in out room. The breakfast could be better..
Staff is really kind! Really close to city center, 5 minute by foot. Very big nice pool with pool bar.

IrelandRoom 223, the shower pressure was terrible and the shower head was not very well attached. We usually did not get a hand towel, but a bath mat to use as a towel.
The staff were always friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is wonderful and never too busy, always plenty of loungers. Breakfast was very good. Ideal location!

It is a very pretty collection of buildings and some love was once put into the creation of the property

RussiaFacts: 1. We booked a superior room with sea view. Arrived very tired, waited at the reception for someone to appear for 15 minutes, were offered a room with terrible conditions and no view. They apologized and asked to wait until next day and maybe they could relocate to a better room. We refused to stay, and were offered another room same day. Had to wait in a lobby for a new room (still tired and still hungry) longer than initially they asked with no update on this taking so long. 2. Second room - spent the first night, air conditioner was too loud, did not sleep the whole night. Broken shower in the morning. Rafael promised to give another room after it is free. We moved again and finally we got the room that we booked from the start! Superior with sea view. It looked as if we were given a favour and room update. No discount for inconvenience but numerous 'Sorries'. Rafael is the only person who actually works and cares for reputation, the rest are at ease, many sorries and relaxed (you are just another guest). Nothing personal though, it is a problem of bad top management only. 3. Contacted the hotel in advance to know if they have shower supplies etc. Had a positive answer, in reality - only hard soap; contacted in advance to make sure we get the room we booked (see point 1). 4. Witnessed another guest not wanting to pay for false booking details and the hotel coming up with this answer (roughly): "We are sorry, booking.com sometimes writes on our behalf and it does not always match the truth. We cannot do anything about this. You still have to pay full amount." 5. Charged 4 time by mistake (okay it happens I guess) 6. I am kind enough not to describe the breakfast here.
