Being picky the towels weren’t the greatest. And the way the shower was positioned water flowed out a little. For safety bathroom window should open out not in as hinges were exposed. But this is being unduly critical to a place that is really very nice

Not dislike as such, just a couple of minor observations; only one key per room was provided and another would have been extremely useful as the doors needed an actual key for soft opening and closing. At breakfast provision of a plain granola would have been nice as there was only one granola which contained chocolate. A couple of little milk jugs for us English tea drinkers would also be useful :) The bedroom was done to a very high standard generally so it seemed a false economy to have stuck the toiletries holders on with silicone sealant, one of ours fell off the wall and the receptionist said "again" when notified of this. It was rectified very quickly, as was another slight problem with the aircon, but I think it is likely to continue if they are not screwed on properly.

The overall ambiance of the hotel is very pleasant, stylish, calm and sophisticated. The staff are simply excellent, from the welcome to the departure, they were all very friendly and professional at the same time. All of the communal areas are kept very clean and tidy, and the bedrooms are very well serviced. The evening entertainment had the same vibe, a cool jazz duo and a duo playing more contemporary music but with a relaxed tempo served as a welcome and unobtrusive backdrop to the restaurant and pool area. The location is perfect for access to the beach at Almyrida, although the hotel does not have its own beach sunbeds there are plenty available in front of the nearby tavernas.

This is a quite new hotel, near to the beach, street full of good readtuarnts near by, and not far from Chnia (25 min drive). The staff was amazing, when they heard my supose had birthday, they brough wine to the room

The location is a bit unfortunate as the restaurants and area nearby are very touristy and not so authentic. There was a very very good restaurant right across the street! But the rest was average. I suggest having a car to explore the surroundings.

The entrance door tour room was slightly stiff to open needed a bit of force to close it. I think this applies to all the rooms because neighbouring ones have to bang the door shut. Very noisy. Whereas we enjoyed the breakfast and most of the evening food some main courses were poor

The perfect place for a peaceful holiday! Quiet pool area, good sunbeds which were always available. The sun was shining all day long on the pool. No children, well equipped gym, excellent and very varied breakfast. Very close to the beach and many good restaurants next door. Nice staff!

The food really needs improvement. The breakfast isn’t very good (oily omelettes, overcooked boiled eggs, and a lot of sugary items) and neither is the coffee. I think to take the hotel to the next level they really need to work on refining the cuisine there.

The property is great! Very clean both in the common areas like the pool and in the room. They are generous with towels for the pool and beach, and the pool area is awesome. Very well located and friendly staff made our stay excellent! Also, it’s in a really nice location across the street from the beach and around some cute restaurants. The massages we had were absolutely amazing, some of the best we’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend booking a massage there!

Nothing, I was very happy

The room was beautiful, I got the room with private jacuzzi and greatly appreciated being able to jump in whenever. The staff were friendly and helpful, the added little touches [arriving to a glass of Prosecco and receiving Greek honey when we left] were a very nice touch, the rooms cleanliness. The staff were considerate enough to help me surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. I wish I'd gotten their names. But I want to send a special thank you to them! I have recommended where I stayed to my friends

The breakfast becomes boring after 5 days.

Close to the beach, very clean and very polite staff. The hotel is really a boutique hotel, not much privacy but adults only peaceful and relaxing place.

The hotel is new, very nice. The rooms are nice and really clean. The service and staff is amazing. It's right next to the beach. At the pool, apart from beds and umbrellas they have cabanas as well. The breakfast is great, a good variety,also they make omlette from the ingredients you choose, fresh juices.

The blackout curtains in the room need updating / fixing, they do let a lot of light in. The air con is just about passable, be sure to leave it on when you can as the unit is not strong enough and takes about an hour or two to affect the room. Gym should be updated a little.

Great position on the beach and kept immaculately clean. The loft / mezzanine rooms are brilliant for a couple and most of all, the bed and pillows are very comfortable and offered a good nights sleep. The staff are great and overall, a create a really good vibe. Decent breakfast!

When very full, the service at the restaurant was slightly slow. There is no beach service, but you can rent sun beds for a small price.

Very reserved and quite hotel, it gives you the perfect sense of relax and holiday in Crete. It is located close to the beach and to all services. The food is amazing and the staff is always kind and friendly. Rooms are clean and wide.

The furniture and design of the rooms are poor, below the high standards of a 5 stars hotel.

The facilities (pool, gym, spa) proximity to the beach, and the high quality breakfast were the main strong points. Also, all the employees were extremely polite and helpfull.

Not enough sun beds for all guests. On occasion we had nowhere to sit outside so stayed in our room until sunbeds were vacated. Shame the pool has no shallow end…….. I wasn’t able to stand up in it!

Small and friendly. Good location. Would be good for Aloe to have some sunbeds on the beach as well as by the pool.
