A little far from the beach if you come without a car. But otherwise, it's a great place to stay for few nights.

Very big and clean rooma. Very good to sleep- not too hot inside and good window covers. Everything we needed. Pool was nice and clean. I wish we could have stayed there longer. Thank you!

Double bed was very hard, pillows very big . Kids room beds/pillows were nicer. Due to not enough netting on the windows, or broken mosquito nets there were several mosquitos in the apartment. However there was a mosquito repellent device available in the room.

Very nice views, big clean suites, clean swimming pool easy access to the airport and Stavros. Easy drive to chania. All commodities available in the kitchen, microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, filter cafetierre. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. Suggested nice and good value places for meals.

All the staff are very helpful and pleasant. It is self catering but you are always able to get a snack or drink from the pool bar.

We have a problem with the hot water in the bathroom, you have to wait a couple of minutes with running water to get the hot water in the bathroom.

Clean and tidy apartments. We had two bedrooms for two adults, so plenty of space. Beautiful sunsets over distant sea views from the huge balconies. Friendly, helpful staff. We arrived late at night and Vasia arranged to leave the key for us to get into our apartment. We would definitely return to Aloni suites in the future. It is an excellent value for money. Even tho they have a snack bar lovely food it would have been lovely to have eaton in a restaurant on site but I do understand that's probably because it's more self-catering.Also need to bare in mind that if u have a problem walking stairs need to make sure you have one that's suitable for you I loved the stairs and quirkyness of this particular suite it was like a TARDIS's it was great.

Great place to stay with a family especially when they have a lovelly size pool. The suite was great very querky exceptionally clean great views of the pool,sea and mountains lovely staff made us feel warm and welcome I would stay there again. Also a nice windy breeze when you sit on the balconies.

The basic con of the facility is that while it is clean apart from that all the other service is minimal. Except a very friendly lady (Katerina) in the pool bar you can hardly meet any staff. What was disappointing is the for a 4 night stay, they NEVER changed towels in the apartment. Also there was no bathroom utilities (shampoo, shower bath only plain soap was available). It certainly does not meet a 3 star hotel expectations with regards to the service provided. The air-conditioning at the rooms is really old. Kind of disappointing that there were no window screens that could easily save energy at night and make overall sleep much more comfortable. The pillows also were old, not really comfortable.

It is a very nice cozy hotel for family vacations. We booked a large apartment that hosted 2 families at a clean , super comfortable, spacious 3 bedroom arrangement. 2 levels that proved to be really cool as separated the play / bed time zones for the kids. Kitchen that included all the basic staff you need for toddlers meal preparation. Nice clean pools that are rarely crowded. Close to chania at a 15 min drive. Also close to a few very nice beaches ideal for families (ie Tarsanas] but be aware that you need a car for all of them

A lovely set of clean, tidy apartments. We had two bedrooms for two adults, so plenty of space. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent pools.Snacks and drinks available all day till 9 pm, I think. I'd say Ideal for small families or quiet adults who just want a relaxing break. Probably a bit busier in July/ August. Beautiful sunsets over distant sea views from balconies. If you dont hire a car, be prepared for hot walks and waiting for busses in little shade, which we did and were expecting this, so were okay. Restaurants and supermarkets 15/20 min walk. Beaches around 30 min walk in either direction. We got the bus to Chania several times and on to Rethimno once. Both beautiful cities. *Last bus from Chania leaves at 8pm.

I would suggest some sort of rubber or felt bits under the legs of the chairs and tables from the balconies but that's a mere suggestion, not a complaint.

Location and isolated area

Beautiful complex, we were there in the off season and nothing was open. Location is beautiful but not so practical for early departures due to darkness of location. A definite place to revisit and stay

There some problems with the apartments. Several windows won't lock, so, even though we booked two apartments, we ended up using only one, as the third guest didn't feel safe enough staying in the second apartment. We arrived in October and we were the only guests. Even though the weather was warm enough, the swimming pools weren't working and everything (including the bar) was closed. Our biggest complaint was that even though the suites are only 5 km from the airport, you can only get there by taxi. The host called a taxi for us, but we were surprised to pay 25 euros for such a short distance (all three guests didn't have a suitcase or anything. Just a rucksack). So, before booking, one should factor in this additional cost. Overall, if you hire a hire and you stay at the villas during the summer, you'll likely have an amazing time.

Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay. The view is absolutely fantastic. We spent half an hour outside just looking at the sunset. The rooms are more spacious than most houses I've lived in. All of us were surprised by their size. The host couldn't make it, but a lovely employee did, who was the nicest, most accommodating person we've ever met. She prepared coffee and cake for us and even drove us to the nearest tavern, where we got to experience truly traditional Cretan food.
