The hosts Andreas and Phillipa were the most amazing hosts we could ever asked for! Usually you check into villas with a key box with no personal meet and greet- but not at Alta Vista! The hosts were ready to meet us at the property even late into the night after a 4 hour delay to welcome us to their beautiful home and more importantly show us around, tell us a little about the area and the property! It was lovely to speak to them and they could not have been more welcoming and informative, they felt like our bestest friends! The house is stunning- it really is luxury! Everything is clean and fresh and it smelt beautiful! Nothing is forgotten and every little personal touch that they have including the carefully selected decor made it stand out to any places we have stayed in Kos before. Following check in, we received a very detailed recommendation list from the host from local restaurants, beaches and things to do with tips and info on all of them!! The views from the house are also second to none and if you are looking for a relaxing holiday where to you can sit in a hot tub and soak in the beautiful Mountain View’s then this is the place for you. Thanks so much for our wonderful stay, the house really made it for us and we can’t wait to book again!

If I am being picky then being 1500m out of the village is the only downside. If you have a non drinker then it is fine as they can drive the house car.

The property is maintained to a very high standard and they have thought of pretty much everything. Very comfy beds, lovely coffee machine, hot tub which is beautifully clean and in order. Phillippa and Andreas offer so many extra touches such as washing machine with products, beach towels, a car, anything that you have forgotten they will source for you. They even offered to collect us from the village on arrival day when we had stopped for lunch.

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about that place

The most amazing we have ever stayed for holidays! Very Clean, modern and thought through interior design, priceless view over the city of Kardamena and the ruins of Antimachia, a whirlpool right at the edge from where you can see the sunrise and all of that for a very cheap price, compared to any other similar accomodation we looked into. And if that wasn't already enough, the owners even prepared a car for us (free of charge) to use and and small gift to take back home. Speaking of the owners, they were the most lovingly hosts we could have imagined - easy going, very helpful, always taking care of us! We wished, we could have stayed longer and shed some tears on our way back home, because it was that beautiful! Strong recommendation for that place!

The house is stunning! Nice view, nice furniture with lovely details - you have everything you need! We enjoyed the nice garden with the jacuzzi and felt very comfortable from the beginning! And it is just a ten minutes walk from the town! The house looks exactly as good as on the pictures! The hosts Philippa and Andreas are so nice - welcome us with fresh fruits, water, beer and a bottle of wine! The communication with them was great and they gave us a lot of good recommendations! Thanks for that! We would love to come again!

We (2+2kids) enjoyed our holiday very much. We had an amazing view over the sea. Very friendly hosts with giving us a very welcome with offering and helping us as required. The luxary house is exactly as it is shown on the pictures and as described in the text. Thanks very much Andreas and his family. We will come back.

The house is fantastic with an amazing view. Andreas and his wife are incredible nice hosts. The design inside the house is made with a lot of love and outside you will find a lot of nice sitting areas, so that you con choose between sun and shadow. The fridge was filled with beer, wine and other basic products. We will come back.

An absolute dream villa in a secluded location with a magnificent view of the Aegean Sea. Every comfort has been thought of here. We were provided with a car (which we did not need). We were greeted with fruit and drinks in the fridge. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped. We enjoyed using the whirlpool. The contact with the hosts was very pleasant.

We very much enjoyed staying in this lovely and comfortable house with truly amazing views (even better than the photos on the website suggest). Although the house is certainly “Luxury”, we remember Alta Vista as a “Happy Home”. Andreas and Philippa are exceptional hosts: - Very friendly and super service oriented ! - The fridge was filled with water, beer, wine, fruit etc. - They live nearby, which is very practical in case you need anything - They gave us a lot of tips (beaches and restaurants to visit etc.) What else made us (Dutch family with 2 kids of 14 and 9 years old) happy: - Amazing views (Aegean Sea, Nisyros island, Turkey, Horomedon mountains, old Castle of Antimachia) - Whirlpool with a view ! - House is located in a quiet area, although town center of Kardamena is only 5 minutes drive away - The house is ideally located to make day trips (to Kefalos, Zia etc.) - Nicely decorated garden - 3 terraces (one with large outside dining table) - All rooms are very spacious - Very practical cabinets in bedrooms (large hardcover suitcases do fully fit in the cabinets) - Everything in the house is very stylish, cozy and up-to-date - Nice massage shower - Fully functional kitchen (including Nespresso machine) - Some basics like salt, pepper, olive oil are freely available for use - Excellent working Airco’s in bedrooms and in living room / kitchen - Good internet / wifi (sufficient speed for streaming Netflix etc.) - Large modern Smart TV in Living Room

The scenery was breathtaking and the view southeastwards on the Aegean Sea, an epic view to Mount Dikeos, Kardamaina, heavenly island Nisyros, Tilos and the Turkish Mainland from a jacuzzi is very special. Apart from that we experienced beautiful birdlife with circling Bea-eaters and Eleonora's Falcons. Andreas and Philippa are great hosts who welcomed us in a warm greek way. They put a lot of effort in this modern unique house and did a great job. We couldn't have asked for anything more during our vacation. Thx The Austrians ;-)

Nothing, everything was A ok !

We have absolutely loved our stay at alta vista from the beginning untill the very end. We received a very warm welcome from the hosts Andreas en Philippa who showed us around the house and were very kind and helpful by providing us with tips and tricks regarding things to do and see in Kos. They always were just a call away in case we had any issues or questions. Furthermore they provided us with a car that we could use free of charge to explore the island ! It is simply impossible to not fall in love with Alta Vista once you arrive at your destination and get to see the stunning panoramic view of the mountains the sea and the cosy town of Kardamena. It looked beautiful on the pictures when we made our reservation but it is nothing compared to the moment you get to see it for yourself ! The house itself is very clean and has a lovely stylish interior as well. The icing on the cake is of course the jacuzzi in the garden where you can wind down after a busy day and relax with a good book and enjoy the amazing views. We definitely recommend it to everyone who comes to the island and wants to have an amazing time on Kos and we are already looking forward to our next visit !
