Everything was just perfect. This place is just a little outside the center of Kolymbia, but easy to access restaurants or the beach by a short walk. Very friendly staff. Peace & quiet. Best value for money for a long time.

Kathy and her family are excellent hosts. The apartments are extremely comfortable with everything that you need. Having access to washing machine is also really useful. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed here for a week, and it was a very good experience, one of the best I would say :). Kathy and her family are wonderful people, very attentive and hospitable to guests. There were a bottle of wine and fruits in the fridge when we arrived :) also free shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Towels change and room's cleaning were done every 2 days. Everything was super clean. A small kitchen corner had everything we needed to prepare some basic food. We also used a washing machine placed in the utility room. The nearest beach is in the walking distance, about 8-10 min. But pretty far away from the main street where majority of the restaurants and shops are (about 25 min by foot). But from the other hand you have a very private and calm space. If you travel by car it is not a problem.

Nothing not to like — Kathy is amazing, she and her family were very helpful and assisted us when we couldn’t get a taxi. They’ve also shown us where is the nearest bus stop so we can get to our next destination.

The apartment is very beautiful and has everything you may need. I was really impressed! It has awesome view at the mountains and Tsambika monastery which is very close if you want to go for a hike. The territory is very peaceful and quiet.

Welcomed with a smile from Kathy - even though it was 11pm. Essentials in the fridge (including a bottle of wine). Apartment was spotlessly clean and with everything we needed. We stayed 2 weeks and apartment was cleaned and towels and bedding changed every 2 or 3 days. Washing machine for guest use was an added bonus. Kathy kept in touch throughout our stay to check if we needed anything. Best place we've ever stayed!!

there was nothing we didn't like

Althea Apartments is set in a beautiful semi rural area which means a quiet location. Short walk to the centre of Kolymbia with a few restaurants a short walk away. The apartment is fresh and clean with a fully functional kitchen in the apartment with fresh pod style coffee on hand, various teas too. A nice touch was the host leaving a chilled bottle of wine and water in the fridge for our arrival. There's also a washing machine for guests to use too which again was a nice touch. Beds are king sized and very comfortable.

The appartment was very clean and cosy and has a luxury vibe. We really loved the bathroom that was of very high quality with an amazing shower. Also the location was great as it was only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach (Kolympia beach). And if you have a car, it is the perfect spot to explore the rest of Rhodes. Also Kathy, the host was very helpful and easy to reach. She also gave us a list with things to do and places to visit as well as good restaurants and bars on the island.

Not really a fault/bad thing but we were looking forward to a hot tub described in the advert but it’s more of a fancy shower unit, thinking about it now, with the heat in Rhodes we definitely would not have used it if there was one anyway!

Beautiful place to stay and the surrounding landscape was just stunning. The host and her family were so friendly and helped us along the whole trip, anytime we had questions about Rhodes or facilities she was available. The apartment was perfect for our trip.

There is nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

My stay in Kolympia, Rhodes was exceptional. The hosts made my whole experience and stay super easy. The apartment was a walking distance down to the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets. The atmosphere was friendly, calm and peaceful. A car rental would make your whole experience/stay in Althea Apartment, Rhodes a 10/10. Kathy and her mom were the sweetest hosts that I ever came across. They provided me with all the information I needed for my trip including restaurant recommendations, beaches, and places worthy to visit. Thank you for the support and enormous hospitality. Mosquitos came into the room, although there were nets installed and an anti-mosquito device was in the room. But we told to the owner and they promised to investigate. Small suggestion, it would be great to have some milk, at least powdered milk for free coffee and tea, but not a must, of course, as you can get it also in supermarkets :)

- astonishing view. - very easy, friendly, and fast communication and arrangments, for example, we were able to check out a bit later and leave our bags. - a quiet area with a "village" feeling, but you need to follow the main street at night as some streets are too empty. - still not far from the beach, approx. 10 mins. - excellent restaurant just 2 mins down the street. - close to a bus station, approx. 5 mins. - some evenings there were farmers collecting watermelons on another side of the street and you can negotiate with them to buy directly from the garden.

Lovely accommodation. Helpful and kind host. The adjustable airco work great, as well as the wifi. The room was clean and cozy. The accommodation is located on a quiet place with view of mountains and goats. :) Had only sun on the patio in the mornings (end sept.) but it keeps the room cool. A lovely place which is value for the money and a great place to discover the island from! At the end, I was sad I had the leave. ;)

The apartment had everything needed to spend a very pleasant stay at Rhodes. Beautiful views to the mountain in a very peaceful location. It was less than 2 min by car to the nearest beach. There are many restaurants close by. The location is 40 min by car to Rhodes old town and 35 min to Lindos, and you can visit different beaches on the way. Kathy, the host, was extremely helpful and sweet. She helped us with the transfers from and to the airport, the quad rental, the boat rental, and she was available for anything that could be needed. I totally recommend this place!

An ideal place for people looking for rest, peace and relaxation, away from the crowds after intense days exploring the island or spending on the beach. The apartment is perfectly equipped. the kitchen has everything you could ever need. Large and very comfortable bed with two side tables,big wardrobe,tablet with two chairs.The apartment of course has air conditioning.Beautiful terrace with armchairs and a small table, perfect for evening dinners. Big bathroom with shower. The apartment is beautifully decorated, tastefully but very well thought out for our comfort. The apartment has many advantages, but cleanliness is its greatest asset ! The place is on one side surrounded by mountains and olive groves and on the other side by water, about 20 km from the old city of Rhodes and very close to many beautiful beaches. Its good to have a car but there are some bus stops around.There are 3-5 minutes walk to the nearest beach. The owners of the apartment are wonderful, friendly and very welcoming people who can help in any situation.
