Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaRoom service wasn't very good. Toilet papers, shampoos and hand soaps were not replaced everyday. We had to contact the reception several times for this. In our surprise the hotel did not provide any printed material for information. We were informed that all the information could be read on the TV. This was a bit frustrating. Hotel did not provide expected help on finyding tours etc. Especially one of the female staff at the reception was quite rude to us when I asked for help to call the taxi companies, because I lost my phone in one of the taxis. She said this was not part of their service. For a 5 Star hotel, we found this unacceptable. We paid 1,617 Euro for 5 nights, in our opinion does not worth the money.
Room was comfortable with a very good veiw of the beach. Beach was very good but unfortunately it was windy during our staty. Breakfast was very rich and good.

CyprusWe got a free upgrade to a Duplex sea view suite which was a very nice surprise. The rooms were new and modern, beautiful design, confortable beds, very clean, and amazing view. We loved the 11th floor swimming pool which was looking to the forest. The big pool at the ground floor was also very nice.Hotel employees were very friendly. The breakfast included a huge variety of items. Location was also very good.

United StatesFor a hotel of this size, I expected more than 3 elevators, as most of the hotel projects of this size I design & remodel for my company do. Only 2 of the 3 were working during our stay, which is unfortunate since summer is the busy season. the pool and pool bar staff were great, only complaint is the large muddy bog area of the grass where the pool lounge chairs are was a surprise to several guests we saw walk by- as many of us walked through it and had our feet sink in and get muddy. A hazard sign for that would have been appreciated. Other than those 2 things, our stay was wonderful and We highly recommend this place for traveling families!
great for families and couples. the rooms were comfortable, room service was excellent and the staff was WONDERFUL. we loved our stay.

NetherlandsPrices are relatively high. For example, the hotel charges 5 euro for a double espresso. For Greece that’s very expensive anno 2022.
Nice gym in which you can do a full body workout. Good pools, next to the beach. Lovely entrance. Good service.

United KingdomYou can't have everything and whilst not far from the old town it is not in easy walking distance, but if you are staying here you have everything you need for a luxurious pampered lie in the sun and occasionally swim holiday.
Lovely pools with plenty of sun shades and loungers. Breakfast buffet was grand to say the least, it is very easy to eat way too much here such is the large variety and selection of beautifully prepared food. There is also a very reasonably priced evening or lunch buffet in the same style, caution required, you only need one of these sittings a day. . . The staff were very professional and fluent in so many languages. The Spa was a touch of luxury . . .just go and pamper yourself

United KingdomNo entertainment in the evenings was disappointing. Unless you wake very early finding a sunbed around any of thr pools is impossible as people reserve with their towels.
All staff were fantastic and attentive. Sofia on 11th floor bar area was fab! Hotel on a whole was beautiful, spa area stunning, location is brilliant. Beach is private however stones walking into the sea which was rather stressful with strong waves haha... still lovely though. Our room was beautiful

United KingdomThe fact I had to go home...
I stayed at this hotel to attend a conference nearby. I was greeted by friendly, helpful staff when I arrived who spoke good English. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had an extensive range of foods with a lovely view for dining on the 10th floor. The hotel has a lovely pool area, and an underpass that leads directly onto the beach. The hotel conveniently located a short cab ride from the airport and short ride on the bus (which goes from just outside the hotel) or cab to Rhodes town. I wish I could have stayed longer.

United KingdomThe only reason for us to score a 9 and not 10 was the food. Breakfasts were great. Lunches were great. Dinners were mostly great, but there were some nights where there was plenty of choice but not enough for our taste. Perhaps that says more about us rather than the food haha but some of the pasta dishes were a little bland and overcooked, even when fresh out. The two restaurants which were different to the main restaurant were okay, but the food was exactly the same as the main restaurant.
Staff. Views. Cleanliness. Service. Attentiveness. Pools. Private Beach. Air Con. Drinks. Staff haha... overall a fantastic holiday.
