How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Wonderful Hotel! The room was great, clean and comfortable. The buildings are beautiful and very characteristic of the Zigoria Villages. Breakfast was lovely (in a seperate building) and staff were exceptional especially Dinitris. Thank you Dimitris for your care and alll the helpful information and assistance in our visit. Would love tp come back!!

Dimitris, our gracious host, ensured that every aspect of our stay was seamless. His recommendations for sites to visit were spot-on, providing a genuine local experience. The rooms were elegantly designed, marrying traditional aesthetics with modern comforts. Every morning, we were greeted with a traditional Zagorian breakfast, hand made from kind Georgia. The location is ideal for those wishing to explore Ano Pedina and its nearby attractions. The scenic beauty of the surrounding area, combined with the warmth of the Ameliko team, truly makes for an unforgettable experience. In all, I highly recommend Ameliko Hotel for anyone visiting Ano Pedina and wants to explore the area of Zagori.

Incredibly friendly staff and cozy rooms. Dimitris had a lot of great recommendations and helped us when planing day trips. The breakfast was excellent, very good coffee. The restaurant had excellent fresh food and wines. It was a perfect package.

The towels were not replaced every day.
Dimitris the owner is a great guy, he recommended us all needed to be done in the area and beyond up to pin every place in our google maps. The property is beautiful well maintained and the breakfast is wonderful. The location is in the middle of the area so it very close to every place.

I would have like the room to be a tad bigger and also the sound insulation between the rooms to be a bit better.
Picturesque, cozy, great options to eat in the village (including the hotel's own restaurant) and above all amazing hospitality!

The Hotel was exceptional, the people are nice and everything is tidy. We had a great time! If you stay in the zagori region, then book this hotel. The tour information that they give are really great! Don't forget to eat at the hotel restaurant. Especially the rose wine with starters is great! Directly from the village there is a really nice hiking path up to a mountain top, 1:30h with great view!

That we didn't book more days there since we loved it!
Stanning atmosphere, the staff was excellent! The owner helped us out to explore the area, sitting with us to plan our day. The room was spacious and super clean. The location was excellent because it's in the middle of Zagorochoria and we had easy access to all the villages.

Great and beautiful place. The room is big and comfortable. Actually this was the nicest room we had in north greece. The place itself is really beautiful, even more then in the pictures. Dimtris is the nicest person, really helpful, gave us good tips where to travel. I highly recommend this place. U won't regret it!

This is a beautiful, comfortable, elegant place and I recommend it absolutely. During my stay I sustained a bad injury (not at the hotel), and I was extremely fortunate that the hotel owner was attentive, made sure I was getting the care I needed, and even stayed in touch with me after my departure, checking that I was alright. So in addition to the professionalism and charms of the hotel I recommend it warmly on the basis of its human qualities. Thank you to the owner!
