We’ve been here for 7 days now and are very sad that we’re leaving tomorrow morning! The location is perfect (only 15min walk to town), the ‘Highway’ is 2 min away, there is 1 big super market next door and the area is suuuuper quiet. You only hear crickets at night and verrrry softly the live music from town which you only hear a little bit from the balcony if you listen closely. The staff, Chara in general is very friendly and helpful and warm. The breakfast possibilities are endless. They also have a Google maps full of food and beach and leisure activities so you don’t even have to think twice about what you can do in the area. The rooms are clean, spacious, romantic, modern and beautiful! Also the cleaning staff doesn’t come till after 12 so even if you want to sleep in, you don’t even have to put the ‘do not disturb sign’ on. Overall a 10 out of 10. Make sure you have a car so you can explore the island, but coming here feels like a home away from home! Will deffff come back here again when we ever choose Crete again! Thanks for the amazing hospitality !!!!

What is unique about this hotel is the personalized hospitality, the magic of ‘filoxenia’ that tradition of welcoming and treating guests with kindness and warmth. Beautiful property, the building is new and modern, as well the décor is modern with clean lines. The owners, especially kind, charming and truly welcoming. They helped me in any request I had and they had a vast knowledge of the area. The room is specious and clean. Breakfast is delicious and rich. Everything is handmade. The hotel is located in a peaceful surroundings. Everything was perfect, in my opinion is small luxury hotel. Highly recommend Dear Sisters my respect .

Everything is beautiful. Love is in the detail. Hosts are great, all tipps where the best on the island ! We came back after a week. Plakias is a good place to eat and close to the best beaches

So so lucky to have been one of the first guests at Amente. We stayed for a week and it became our home while exploring the island. - as beautiful as the pictures, perfectly clean, peaceful, great breakfast, loved the shower, well isolated rooms, parking available, beautiful pool (though a little cold), subtle music throughout the day, great lightning, mirrors and curtains. - big and small acts of kindness from our hosts - did their best to welcome us a little early, extra coffee and food at breakfast, and just always authentically kind and smiling - we weren't familiar with the surroundings but Chara gave us the best recommendations and we fell in love with it. Believe it or not, the Plakias beach became our favorite beach on the island, especially at sunset

We liked everything about this property. The design of the room, the pool and the entire place was amazing. Its not located in the crouded area of the city, so if you are looking for a cosy place with nice services, this is the place to be. Chara, our host, helped us with recommendations and made our stay in Plakias more enjoyable and easy. We couldn’t wish for more.

Why am I praising Amente so much? Because I left with a feeling to eagerly return again. To be honest, this is also due to the fact that I was well biased from the pictures on what to expect, the splendid timing having spent the most relaxing part of my vacations there, or the fact that I love the area, maybe more than any other place in Greece. But still, as a place I would boldly argue that Amente should set standards and any other hosting place should follow such principles in the architectural / aesthetic part, the practicality or the size. We do not need mash production in tourism. Amente has 10 rooms in total on two levels. No need for more, no need for less. Let's not forget our ancestors. "Pan Metron Ariston", "In all, Modest is Excellence" . BUT. To be fair. What I didn't like was, the pillows. BUT, I only had to complain about it and it was fixed. I also didn't like that there were no trees to block the view from the street, BUT, this will take some to get fixed, till the trees grow. In fact, Amente has opened a few weeks ago, so let's see what the future will bring. Best luck and thanks for everything!

There are some rare cases when your staying goes beyond your expectations. There are some equally rare cases when the words or pictures or ratings cannot capture well the feeling you had while leaving the place that hosted you. I have never given a 10 before in my travel life, and I have traveled quite a lot for business or leisure purposes. What makes a 10? I think it is when multiple factors converge in being fulfilled to an uplifting state. What does uplifting staying means? It is when the place can spark emotions, can forge memories in a subtle manner when fulfilling your basic needs. It is for example the feeling of the dropping shower water on your body, the sun rays meeting and flirting with the color of the wall, the smile of the owner while saying goodbye, their eagerness to resolve any unexpected incident, the breeze in the cozy yard that can inspire you to read a book or write a poem or just relax by the pool. From an aesthetic perspective Amente has managed what other hosting places have forgotten in Greece. Respect the architectural tradition while being modern, respect the land space by blending in with its prime colors, so comforting for the eyes. From a hospitality perspective Amente has managed to answer in advance my needs before even expressing then. From practicality perspective Amente has managed to be equipped with all what you need to relax.

Everything during our stay at this place was perfect. The room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped (iron, drying rack, slippers). Breakfast (choice over 4 menus or à la carte) was very good. Chara shared recommandation of places to visit and eat and she was so helpful in making our stay perfect. I recommand this place 100/100!

Structure and service, better impossible!

Amazing hotel just finished, new and very stylish. It is family managed and the service was really the best. We were suggested nice restaurants, beaches, places to visit. The position is great and the room are big and very silent. The team is always available and very kind, we spent amazing time here!

the location wasn't as i imagined and described. the property is right on a road (not the busiest but still a main one). its small, almost too small to feel like you are in the country.. a bit pricey - no breakfast included.

The hotel is well decorated, beautiful room, nice pool, feels cozy. staff are super friendly and nice.
