To be honest everything was prefect and nothing to complain about.

The fact it was very clean and new, all staff was extremely lovely and very welcoming. From my experience the pool and side sea view room was the best decision i make, the view was breathtaking.

Best breakfast of all the places I stayed in Crete by a mile. Great choice and quality of food. Friendly and professional staff in all areas, truly five star service. Loved the view from my room (470) Really well designed hotel, love the way you can see the sea from the lobby, reception, bar, restaurant, room and pool. Strawberry daiquiri on the beach was great! Really appreciated the snack waiting in my room on arrival, as I arrived late in the evening after the restaurant was shut. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Once arrived in the resort, we were warmly greeted by the super friendly staff with delicious fruits and beverage. My girlfriend and I travelled on the special occasion of my birthday; we were surprised to receive the best treatment we could ever imagined of a hotel: they upgraded our room to the best possible type, decorated the room with beautiful balloons , written a warm letter with nice wishes, and offered 2 (!) wonderful cakes for our celebration. I therefore had one of my best birthday celebration on this lovely hotel. Moreover, during the rest of our one-week stay, we were more than pleasant with all aspects of the resort, for example the large variety of the food offered in the breakfast, the alwasy smiling and greeting crew members, the extremely smooth check-in and check-out process, the well-functioning and super comforting sauna area, and the amazing live performance of the lobby bar. All in all, they live well up to, and indeed largely exceed, our expectation and understanding of a five-star hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend this luxury resort to everyone reading this review.

To many annoyances when it's fully booked: Not enough tables inside or outside (depending on the weather). No free choice of table in the main restaurant. Higher chance of a good table if you charm the staff (at least that was my impression). As always people start to reverse beds at the pool and on the beach and the hotel has unclear countermeasures and only at the pool. Some guests reserved beds on the beach AND at the pool and got away with it. This is neither appropriate guest behavior in a 5* hotel nor an appropriate handling from the hotel. As said, it's a great hotel and perhaps it's only me but I don't want to deal with this things on vacation and especially not in a 5* hotel. But in their defence, this hotel is new and these things might run better as soon as everything has settled down. Sandy beach only where the hotel is and only up to the waterline. In the water and outside of the hotel area mostly stones from fine to rocky.

Amazing view from top floor with sea view, beautiful rooms and hotel, wide variety of dishes at the buffets, three restaurants, professional staff (Christos, Maria), quick and reliable help wherever needed, bar service at the pool and on the beach and much more. It's a great hotel.

For a start, at the reception had a refreshing lemonade with some fruits, the staff were extremely polite and servicial. After a few moments we were informed that we were upgraded to an Executive Suite Sea Front with Private Pool. The room was absolutely amazing, clean, big, modern, simply beautiful!!!! The staff left a bottle of wine, some seasonal (and delicious) fruits and later also a cake for our anniversary. The food, oh the food, breakfast and dinner just first class, everything fresh, well served, as a first class restaurant. The waiters, bell boy, reception, room cleaners, all so polite and nice. The relaxing environment they all keep is absolutely remarkable and unforgettable. Thank you very much for making our anniversary and our stay something we'll never forget!!!!

Just friendly remarks: The orange juice for breakfast is very tasty but some bigger choice of juices would be better. The staff is very friendly and polite but considering that the hotel is new it needs some more training or practice in order to be more efficient.

Brand new hotel; very quiet and clean. Excellent breakfast. I'd recommend the Almyra restaurant near the beach, exceptional cuisine, friendly staff and moderate prices for a 5 star resort.

The seafront room balconies were too close and open to each other, so privacy from your neighbors was minimal. Also we would have preferred to have a bathroom door between the room and the bathroom area.

The layout was very spacious and open. The design was modern and new which gave a very fresh look and atmosphere. The view was beautiful wherever you stood in the hotel. The pool and beach layouts were comfortable snd beautifully done.

The staff on breakfast is not enough for the number of visitors. Not all of them were kind or Professional. Example: we ordered a second cup of coffee. Waited about 20 min. And did not have it. We asked what happened, and a lady who looked like a boss answered rudely that she knows and we have to wait. We waited for another 10 min. And nothing. We left without having it. Another example with a young man who prepared omellettes. It was very bad.

Absolutely amazing. Wonderful spacious rooms with great amenities and comfy bed. Very clean. Surrounded by pools. Staff are very attentive and polite. The restaurant and bars in the resort were decent. Great food. Good value for money. Spa amazing. 10mins drive from Rethymno town and not too far from decent local taverns. Just shy from the hustle and bustle. If you want some time relax and recharge your batteries this is definitely the place you want to be. Luxury Resort and Spa indeed.

This hotel was "wow" from the first moment. Very clean, friendly staff, nice pool, great breakfast variety, nicely organized beach. They upgraded my room without saying any unnecessary word - I got a room with outdoor jacuzzi on the huge balcony. Further, they made a nice surprise gift on the night before departure which included olive oil, honey and olive oil soap. How can I not love this hotel after all this? I understand that this is done also to attract more guests as they are new, but they have won my heart for sure. Room has all necessary amenities, including bathroom amenities, coffee machine, iron, beach towels that you can change every day, without any fees/deposits, oh and also a welcome bottle of wine and basket filled with wonderful Cretan fruit. If I say I enjoyed my stay, it would be an understatement. Also, Crete is a wonder island, very close to what paradise could look on Earth, so will be back again with pleasure!

The hotel had just opened and the facilities were still partly under construction. Although, disturbance of the construction work was minimal, some of the services (e.g. spa) was not yet operational upon arrival. Despite overall good experience, the ‘final touches’ and the level of service was not yet up to a 5-star hotel level.

Hotel opening was one week before we arrived, so there was still some construction work somewhere. We woke up few times because of the noise of machines. Drinks were much better in lobby bar than at the pool bar.

The surroundings (outside the hotel) are very poorly taken care off, there is literally nothing to do outside the hotel. If you want to go to the city, note that the taking a taxi is an adventure in itself. Taxi drivers drive like crazy to the point where it seems dangerous. The staff of the hotel is at times intrusive, in their attempt to be nice. The gentleman working at the breakfast and dinner (I believe his name is Georgios) would need some additional training. Greeting the guests at breakfast by saying ‘Oh I’ve never seen you here’ while giving us a table is rude. Also, we have felt almost discriminated by him when he turned my boyfriend back asking him to change from sandals to closed shoes and not allowing him to have dinner. All of this happened while a man sitting next to our table was wearing sandals and that was perfectly fine with Georgios :) Not a great way to service your guests… Food at breakfast and dinner is very average, almost poor quality in some cases. Coffee is terrible.

The facilities are very nice, the pool is great, service via App at the pool was also nice. If it’s available, book a room with a sharing pool at least :)
