Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandThe bathroom is in need of renovation. In the morning water isn’t very hot. Once at night we had no hot water. Can be loud from restaurant below but it didn’t really bother us.
Port side location was amazing. Loved watching boats come and go.

IndiaWe absolutely loved everything about Angeliki Seaside Hotel. The location, the service of the hotel, the interiors of the room, the kindness of the owner (Chris), the view from all the rooms and last but not the least the helpfulness of the staff was amazing. We will come back for a unique, peaceful and comfortable stay at the Angeliki Seaside Hotel. Me and my mother highly recommend this place to all of you for its unmatched hospitality and warmth. Special thanks to the owner Chris and his wife for making our stay memorable. We felt this to be home away from home. 😊❤️ We will visit this lovely place again next year.

AustraliaNothing. We were there over Greek Easter and the streets were chaotic but hardly heard the noise from the street below.
We stayed 3 nights at Angeliki. The location is amazing. The harbour is beautiful with clear water, little beach great for swimming. The best seafood restaurants are all along the shore right at your doorstep and well priced. The balcony from the room was great for sunset drinks and has a shade you can bring down. Our room was a good size, clean, comfortable and functional. Don’t be put off by the old looking decor, this hotel is fabulous. Chris was very helpful during our stay and was easy to contact. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back soon

AustraliaThe bathroom is outdated but this is often the case in smaller villages and it was not a problem.
I had a large room with a verandah overlooking the harbour. Gorgeous views.

AustraliaWould like to have an electric kettle for Tea and coffee in each room. There is a communal coffee / tea area accessible to guests but have to be up and dressed to access! Bathrooms a little dated - but spotlessly clean.
Perfectly situated overlooking marina - can hear the waves from room. Easy Walking distance to everything. Choice of lots of restaurants.

PortugalEverything was great for us :)
We loved Angeliki! First, we arrived and the lovely lady from the reception was amazing, introduced us to the island of Paros, told us where to go, where the greatest beaches were, how to go to Antiparos, everything! Then the room was really nice, for us was perfect, two beds, a lovely balcony that we loved it. The hotel is located in a lovely harbour who has a lot of life during the day and night is very nice also! :) There's free parking near and you can just talk a little walk, 5 minutes from there to the hotel. It was a really great stay!

LebanonThis hotel was in a great location in a small fishing town in Paros. Next to it there are dozens of high quality restaurants and cafes on the docs. It's quite incredible to walk there during the day, during sunset time and at night. The staff was extra kind and helpful especially when we needed to go back to the port to catch our ferry and the bus never showed up, one of the staff members kindly offered to drive us there so that we do not miss the ferry!

The property was in the most beautiful location right on the seafront of a bustling village. The rooms were clean and spacious with everything you needed. Georgia on reception was absolutely fantastic, extremely helpful and great English. She made recommendations on places to visit avoiding the tourist traps, including restaurants and local specialities.

AustraliaBeds were two singles joined together and weren’t super comfortable
Brilliant location in a quieter area of Paros which we loved. Georgia at reception was very accomodating, helping us to reserve an ATV hire in town, check in and out after hours and have our laundry washed free of charge. Bus stop just down the road takes you back to the port, we got a taxi in for €30 but got the bus for €1.80 back so definitely look up the bus to save some cash.

We loved our stay here. The hotel was lovely and clean. The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked well! The view from the balcony was lovely. Great location close to lots of restaurants. Georgia, the host, was so friendly and helpful with everything during our stay, and gave us lots of great ideas for things to do and arranging bookings. The other staff were also friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again if back in Paros!
