Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Romania- Very expensive resort for what it offers, in my opinion - do not expect to be like in the Maldives - Very crowded beach, sunbeds really close one to another, although we understand that there were many people accomodated.
+ Very friendly staff, always there to help for any request we would have. + Loved the food variety and quality! + Great animation team and great activities during the day and in the evening + GREAT place for kids!

GermanyThe staff on the most part were exceptional. We had some issues at the beach bar trying to get someone’s attention to order coffee while at the sun loungers. Sometimes in the restaurant they would forget to bring things.
The hotel is located on one of the most amazing beaches I’ve seen in Sithonia. The sea is very shallow and perfect for kids. Everything you need for an extended stay is there, restaurants, super market, shops, spa, bars… so you don’t really have to leave the resort. The rooms are a good size. Food is great in the buffet. Kudos for their performance under COVID restrictions!

MoldovaThe location is one of the best we have seen in Halkidiki, excellent blue flag beach with an awesome sea. It was perfect for kids, calm and shallow closer to the beach, which makes it very safe for children. A big plus compared to other hotels is that the beach is directly connected to the hotel, with no public roads in between as we have seen at Lagomandra for example. One other great aspect is that the beach is private, other visitors are not allowed. The half board offers a great variety of dishes, including a lot of options with seafood or fish, the only thing that would make it better is to have at least one bottle of water included at dinner and the same added to the minibar in the room, from our experience some restaurants in Greece do that on a normal basis, it is a must have for a half board. The staff was very friendly, prompt and the receptionist was always fast to react to our requests. The room is very spacious and renovated, the bathroom was huge with a shower and bathtub. Enough space for a family with two children.

GreeceSome guests unfortunately put their towels on the sun loungers and 'reserve' the seats without using them for hours. This makes it difficult to find a lounger not in use and this should be addressed by the staff. We did have this issue a couple of times and it was frusterating.
Beautiful resort with helpful and friendly staff. Our suite was fantastic. Lovely buffet breakfast. We had dinner at the tavern there and it was fabulous (great food, lovely decor, respectable prices and great service). Fabulous beach snd pools. Everything was amazing.

SerbiaNothing to do with the hotel but with covid19, spa is closed. But at least they opened the gym i was pretty happy about that.
Beach is perfect. Never seen in Greece a hotel with better organized beach staff. They clean it every morning. Waitress with curly hair is extremely fast and always polite. Nice food at beach bar. Breakfast and dinner are very good. Various types of food.

SwitzerlandCleaning was a bit chaotic - it felt like they've their own schedule and if you don't fit then it's your problem. Whenever asked to come back later they would rarely return to clean the room that day. I've had to call reception to request a cleaning. Kids club is a bit of an exaggeration - staff is kind but not very active. Most days they were just sitting there drawing and not much else. On-site taverna is best avoided: food was overpriced and poorly prepared, the seafood platter we've tried was the most expensive dish during our whole stay and the most disappointing.
Great breakfast, staff was generally very welcoming and kind, good beach facilities, kids disco was fun for the kids.

IsraelOverall value for money is VERY POOR. While this is not a cheap resort, they are very very miser….: no coffee or tea in rooms, NO WATER (cooler) is freely available around the hotel or pool! You have to pay for water and this is a summer hot greece. Espresso costs 4.5euro!! they charge for food unreasonable prices!!! Watch out.
Private beach, nice pool, comfortable rooms, good and rich breakfast. Most staff are very welcoming.

BelgiumCleaning lady entered the room twice eventhough we told her to wait 5-10 minutes so we could leave. Pool upstairs is open 10:00 - 19:00, at 18:15 the staff starts to take the towels from the beds, close the parasols etc... not really an relaxing feeling for the last 45mins, not really a 5* service. Food & drinks are ridiculously expensive, even for a 5* hotel. Beers at 7 EUR (other places ranging from 3,5 to 5 EUR). Water free at breakfast but not at dinner? We left the hotel at 7am and weren't able to shower as we found out the water is cut off at night? Nobody told us eventhough we settled the bill the evening before and requested luggage pick-up at 6:40am. Plenty of staff and a visible manager, yet I believe the team could do with less staff and a better coaching to make the experience unforgettable instead of 'ok'.
Upon arrival we got a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated! The first 4days of our stay, the hotel was fairly quiet, afterwards it was more crowed. Very nice and well maintained area. Food in the restaurant was good and with variation.

United Kingdom1. Whilst the service from most members of staff was excellent, it wasn’t the case for the reception team. In particular, we found Daniella very direct / almost rude - always trying to justify when something goes wrong but still pointing the finger to the guests. For instance we didn’t pay the taxi straight as we arrived because no one asked us for it so we thought we would pay later, and yet she made her colleagues oversight sound like our fault. We also had a couple of friends coming to visit us for a day and again Daniella handled the situation poorly - being amazed that we hadn’t seen the external guest policy on our day 2! The hotel was far from full so not sure I understand their policy now that I have read it - but anyway just less business for the hotel as we spent the day somewhere else. 2. Great surprise on arrival as we were told that we had been upgraded. Not such a nice surprise when we discovered this room was about the main drain of the hotel and the smell was horrible. Someone came to fix it but it didn’t do anything. Disappointing for a 5-star hotel. 3. Whilst the hotel provides towels for the pool and the beach, they would run out in the afternoon and only show the used towel basket. 4. Kid’s pool is the only place in the hotel without proper Sunloungers, whilst probably where parents spend most of their time. Having said that not sure we’d have been able to relax anyway as the kids’pool is so close to the big pool without any fence or separation. Also there is no entertainment in the kids pool - would be good to have had some water toys the children could play with. 4. Lots of German tourists - which is great - but it often feels like the hotel only caters for them, in terms of language, TV channels and food. It is not very non-German friendly. 5. Shame the hotel only offers a trip to Nikiti once a week vs. N. Marmera everyday as Nikiti is so much nicer!
We took half board and both breakfast and dinner were very good - large variety of options and great quality. Our room was very big and comfortable. The beach is quite small but great for children as the sea is very shallow and clean. The entertainment team was great - really trying to bring people along with them and entertain all guests.

GermanyThe hotel is very nice, but also very expensive. It is totally unacceptable that I have to pay yet again for using the advertised indoor-pool. (5€ per 2h window, so even for a short swim). And why post the information that everyday at 5PM there is volleyball? I went to the court three days in a row, no one showed up and when I finally tracked down someone from your team they admitted that they don't like the game and don't even have a ball.
Amazing quantity and choices for both breakfast and dinner. If only the cooks would know what they are doing and the food was hot...

RomaniaThe pillows were awful, super hard, we slept on decorative pillows, and we asked for an extra one. The body towels were worn out, the seif instructions were writen in greek, the beach was medium, shallow water, good for the kids, but not clear greek like. It is unlikely for a 5* hotel to not have a coffee machine in every room, and wine glasses. Seaside rooms are overrated becaise they are far from the beach and you see the pool. The pools are small, and one of them is getting deep very vast. The kids pool is super small. The pool time is only until 18:00 o clock. The doors can't be locked from the inside, in case your child is opening the door when you're looking the other way for 1 minute, and considering that it's a family hotel, i think it is a must.
The staff was super friendly and helpful,5* for them. Elia restaurant was very good with a lot of choices for breakfast and dinner, good food, and for a good price, the beach near the hotel is helpful, although the water is not greece like. They have a market inside the resort and is pretty helpful.
