Spacious apartment, probably the largest of the available ones, but the balcony is the furthest from the sea. The sea is still visible, but so are all the other balconies. The good side of this is that we had the best view of mountains behind. The apartment is neat but dated. Delicious local style breakfast in a renovated cafeteria and the location is just wonderful. It was my favourite location from the week long trip. It’s quiet, remote, just a few steps from the cliffs and stairs to the beach. There are some free bicycles to ride to the village, not in best condition, but they do the job.

Place full of tourists No a lot of things to do close by Under the sink, where the bin was, had a very strong cold tobacco smell ! Not a good sonic isolation, we could hear our upstairs neighbours a bit too well...

Very cute little hotel, with a really beautiful garden. A beach very close by(50m). People there were very nice ! Very good restaurants nearby. Breakfest was great ! Homemade with a lot of variation, and fresh orange juice ! I need to emphatize the garden. The whole place is incredibly cute if you like plants !

Anthos is the best place for your family holidays. Very clean, beach within a 3-minute walk, best breakfast in the whole create, great restaurant nearby. I hope I will have the opportunity to come back soon.

If you know where you go, Anthos is the best choice. Brand new, clean, excellently located and positioned. Great value for money for the highest season. The staff will go above and beyond to meet every need. The cleaning staff is extremely polite. Nice size super market and local restaurants in walking distance. If you don't like walking you can always get a bicycle free of charge. There is so much quiet in the area. Even cars pass very rarely in front of the hotel, always with low speed. The sandy beach in front of the hotel is not annoyingly crowded even in the middle of August! We highly recommend it and will visit again for sure.

Loved everything

The location is great, just a short walk down the stairs to the beach and two great taverns a short walk away. The hosts really go above and beyond to make sure that everything is perfect and that you feel welcomed and can enjoy your stay. They also offer a great breakfast and parasol for the beach. The rooms, outside and reception area are really so beautiful. Really a great place to stay. Cannot recommend enough.

The accomodation is brand new, looks exactly as advertised, clean, modern, offers everything you need for a peaceful holiday in the south of Crete. Amazing seaview right from the bed :), good sized balcony, flowers, herbs, blooming bushes and olive trees all around, making each room feel more private and paradise-like :). We loved our stay, the hosts were welcomming and helpful, reception open most of the time, wifi was good although slightly sketchy in strong wind. The surrounding area is beautiful - breathtaking views of the mountains, beach literally a few meters from your door (just down a few steps), great family-run tavern a few metres away as well, shop just about a kilometre down the road. We would come back any time!

My husband and I vacationed at the Anthos hotel on Crete from August 30 to September 06, 2022. Honestly, everything was so amazing that it's hard for me to single out one thing. The owners of the hotel are wonderful people and very caring. Our flight was delayed and the owner of the hotel kindly went and bought us food, organized a transfer for us and helped with all our questions during our stay. The room was clean, tidy and very nice. This sea view room is located in an olive grove. A wonderful place. We would like to return again.

Beautiful appartment with stunning sea and mountain views. Very close to the beach but also plenty of other good beaches nearby. Great taverna closeby. Truly lovely owners: Giorgos and his parents Irini and Nikos are genuinely warm people and will help you with whatever you may need and more. :) Thank you, it was great to get to know you! That we stayed only one night

Spot clean modern apartment! Everything was new and stylish! The mattress and pillows were perfect. Balcony with sea view. Free parking under the shade of olive garden. Probably the best stay we had in 14 days around Creta. Totally going to visit this place again. I would give 11 if I could!

A better wine opener, a salad bowl and a pasta/salad strainer would have enhanced the kitchen setup, but we made do nonetheless and enjoyed the kitchenette.

Wake up in an olive grove with a view of the sea from your bed and a quiet, gorgeous beach directly out the front door. A wonderful option off the beaten path for relaxing, with everything you need within easy reach (Taverna across the street, cafe and market a short walk away and a local baker who stops by every morning and sells fresh bread out of his van).
