The apartments are on quite a steep hill so may be a problem for people with mobility issues but if you have a car, the parking lot is right outside the building and there are plenty of spaces.

The room was very clean, bed very comfortable and the large shower (with door) was fantastic. There is a small fridge and also a kettle with complimentary tea/coffee. Our room had both a view of the sea and also the highest mountain on Crete! Antigoni had its own parking lot and so we were always guaranteed a parking spot and was very central for both the 'town' and the beach. Although it is on quite a steep hill, this meant that the views were good and also that we could work off some of the delicious food (and raki). Our host Maria was very friendly and always available if we needed her but we really did have everything for an extremely enjoyable stay.

The room was clean, there was a kettle and tea, coffee sugar milk. Bed linen changed in the week also towels changed 3 times in the week. Maria the owner was really lovely and was available for the whole of our stay. Would recommend staying here.

We had an amazing stay thank to Maria who made everything perfect. The room was very spacious, had a lot of light during the day, and extremely clean. Maria took care of cleaning everyday, changed the towels as often as at a 5* hotel. The location is perfect, close to all the bars and restaurants, beach, and supermarket. Exceptional Value for money with outstanding friendlyness of staff, flawless communication and check-in/-out, a free upgrade to a sea view room and again, an exceptional experience for quite little money. Mentionable is the parking right in front of the apartments, which certainly requires a bit of driving skill, but nontheless makes the check-in so comfortable. You need to try this out! South coast is generally better than noth and in Antigoni it becomes the perfect vacation.

the balcony is small - perfect for two, but if traveling with more, you can’t all fit comfortably there. the AC in the room takes time to cool off the room and you cannot change the fan speed. that took time to figure out how to deal with and optimize.

Value (quality you get compared to cost). Quality of room is better than expected. Very clean. Owner is diligent in cleaning the room. AC works well and quiet even during a heat wave (July 2022). I think the relatively low cost of the hotel room is mainly due to the high concentration of hotels in the small town.

Bed was quite hard. The hotel is located relatively far from the city center and requires a steep climb. In general it is should not be a problem, but with the injured knees that became one...

A very friendly host offered a free upgrade to a see view room. A good closer shower with nice water pressure (you don't see that often in Crete 😉)

This should be like standard hotel on the slopy street. But hospitality was above what we expected. Room was clean. Large enough. We didn't miss anything there. I think "view to garden" was promised. Garden was small, but in reality we saw sea from our balcony. Balcony is equipped with little table and two chairs. However not isolated from neighbourhood baloneys enough.
