Very nice and clean place in a quiet location, good place to relax and enjoy holiday. Lovely, clean swimming pool , close to the beach, supermarket 1 minute away from apartment, 10 minutes away from Kalyves centre. The owner very polite and frendly 🥰

No bad things, really!

It’s a calm, beautiful and agreeable place for stay in Kalyves. There is a supermarket just aside, various restaurants in a walkable distance, a good pool and comfortable apartaments. The barbecue place is a plus, you can grill as you like, just by coal and your food and you can have a nice meal around the pool! We didn’t stay in the beaches nearby, as it’s was our first time in Crete, we were excited To go to the hotspots: Elafonisis, Balos, Knossos… And if it’s your objective also, I recommend rent a car. Maria, the hostess, is always around ready to help you as needed. She is very kind and helpful!!!

The furniture is old-fashioned, however this is a personal taste :)

The apartment is spacious, witb a living room, bedroom and a very nice balcony with pool view. They provide free parking. Maria was very polite and took care of our requests, including late check in and help with car rental. 2 min away you'll find restaurants, coffee shops and a supermarket. A nice beach with free sunbeds is also 5 min away.

Thank you for great hospitaly of you.Everything was really great. We feel really relaxed during stay at Aphrodite. Very nice and quiet apartments. Nice, clean pool. Not too busy. Supermarket 100 m. Nice beaches and restaurants nearby. Really recommended. The best hostess ever.

Nice quiet and cosy apartment property. Great pool with perfect water temperature end of June. The sun warms up the pool throughout the day. Near the beach, supermarket, restaurants and gas station. Would definitely recommend the property and would very likely come back next time!

The staff were very welcoming and incredibly helpful. In a nice quiet location, very short walks to the supermarket, restaurants and beach. The hotel and room was very well equipped.

We loved the apartment layout, the air conditioning, the lovely pool (which was warm enough to swim in!), the peaceful location, the rooms, the regular change of sheets, the proximity to the supermarket & beach.

Amazing location, nice family who owes the apts. Very impressed how they take of the customers and cleaness is spotless...very quite and peacefull place full of flowers nice landscapes and 3 beaches. Full of local restaurants and Taverns.Local shop and nice places around.Just if you would like to have chilled rest out of crowd is the best place I would say to stay.We didn't use the pool as we were looking something close to the sea.But the pool is also nice and spotless.Free parking and Maria is very helpful.Thank you for amazing stay.

If I had to say anything, there was no TV. But that's not a criticism.

Fantastic family-run pension in Kalyves. Hostess was extremely friendly, allowed us to check out late and keep using the pool. Room was large with balcony and stove top, large cot provided. Wifi worked well. Washing machine in basement was a great help. Pool was excellent with a baby section included.

Very good location, super market was close. Two beaches and restaurants and other shops and kiosks were close. Staff was helpful and nice. Cleaning happened often. Clean and comfortable rooms. Peaceful area.

The fact we didn't book for longer!!!

Everything was brilliant! We used to stay in the same couple of places in Kalives every year, but couldn't get in touch with the old owners, so had to try somewhere new which set the bar very high. Maria was a fantastic host and far exceeded our expectations, she was superb at communication leading up to, and whilst we were on our holiday, she also is just a lovely person to have a chatter with. Thank you so much! We will return!!!

Very nice place, Maria was very nice and very helpful although we got there very late at night. The pool and its area are lovely, but the room was a bit gloomy, but very functional. The balcony is nice

The balcony was not separated at the top from the adjoining balcony. The pillows were very hard, it was impossible to sleep on them.

We were only here one night. A very clean, pleasant hotel. Close to the beach, supermarket, taverns (we had dinner in Almy tavern and it was a very tasteless meal). The studio room was adequate for one night. There was nothing missing in it, the kitchenette was well-equipped.

Suitable for person who is looking for quiet, simple accomodation near by sea. They dont have reception but communication via booking messenger was working perfectly. Nice helpful hosters.
