Hotel staff was exceptional. Ioanma, the front desk receptionist, was very professional, helpful, and resourceful. The property is a heartbeat away from great restaurants and Athen's attractions.

The room was missing a few small amenities such as an iron and an ironing board, and there was no shower curtain or screen in the bathroom, which meant the floor got quite wet. There were no streaming apps on the TV either, although that's no bad thing really. At the buffet breakfast the food was not kept hot, so things like scrambled eggs would be cold if you came down for breakfast later. Some of the pastries were not that fresh, and the coffee at the breakfast was from a machine and not that great. I personally would've preferred a simple filter coffee - or even the chance to pay extra for a proper barista coffee (which is available elsewhere in the hotel, just not at the buffet breakfast).

We stayed for our honeymoon and it was the perfect base for our visit to Athens. The location was very central, and we were able to get pretty much everywhere on foot including the Acropolis and Syntagma square. The design of the hotel was absolutely beautiful, very stylish and distinctive, and the perfect backdrop for honeymoon pictures. The rooftop bar is gorgeous and offers stunning views of the acropolis. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, and incredibly good value for the price! The most expensive item on the menu was the steak, which as of September 2023 cost €25 and was one of the best I've ever had. Everything else was delicious too, the homemade taramasalata, the octopus dish, the desserts, even the simple salad dishes... just delicious, simple food that was beautifully presented. The coffee was excellent as well. The staff were universally friendly and welcoming, and very helpful with any queries we had.

I did not like the breakfast so much

The ambiance at the hotel was quite impressive. The interior design is very stylish , and the bar was definitely a standout for me (try the spicy margarita). The staff, who are predominantly young, also provided us with hip suggestions for dining options also outside of the hotel (not the typical touristic restaurants but hip restaurants with a young and cool crowd)

Breakfast not great. Toaster not working, and same choices everyday which got tiresome. I suspect there’s a lot of wasted food which should tell them it’s not pleasant. The cheese and spinach pittes which Greece is well known for were awful and left there everyday. Lovely lady on staff in the mornings run off her feet as was alone on shift with a full house. Rooms need finishing with small things like towel rails and robe hooks in bathroom and soap holders in shower so paint work stops falling off from ledge.

Fabulous musics playing entire stay. Good walking distance to all sites. Clean and comfortable roof top bar view amazing. Should have breakfast and restaurant up there not just drinks.

I wish there was a leaflet/booklet containing some more information about the hotel, like the number to ring reception or the starting time of breakfast. The AC has an odd smell.

The location of the hotel was perfect. We were lucky to have a room with a view on the acropolis. The roof top bar is nice. The room is comfortable and clean.

I would have liked to have checked in earlier than 3pm but appreciate that with a 12pm check out that a 3pm check in for new guests gives them enough time to turnover rooms.

The Apollo was stunning in every aspect. The decor was old glamour with a modern twist. It felt like a complete paradise in a busy city. It was peaceful and the staff were beyond perfect. The breakfast was excellent and front desk staff helped me with storing baggage and transfers to the airport. The room was spotless and so comfortable. The fridge was stocked with coke, still water, fizzy water and fruit juice. The room felt very luxurious. I enjoyed my meal at the hotel bar. I experienced excellent customer service there and was provided with recommendations for gluten free food and a mocktail based on my tastes. Overall I felt really looked after and would undoubtedly stay again.

The food in the bar was delicious!! The chips and santorini salad were some of the best we had during a week on holiday. The vibe in the courtyard bar is chilled and nice. Breakfast was also great. Location was spot on for walking to all the sights.

The room was nice but very tiny and compact. Also…a warning….we ate dinner at the restaurant there! We had the worst meal we have ever been served. We travel a lot and are not picky eaters….this meal was simply inedible.
