Our stay was more than perfect. Our hosts Yanis and Despina are amazing people, they do everything they can to make you feel like home! And it’s a success. I never felt like that in any places I went before. The facility is beautiful, clean, human size. The breakfast is perfect. The rooms are decorated with a lot of taste. Everything about this property is lovely. It is very clean, well maintained, the staff and family are very friendly and go the extra mile for you. This hotel is perfect for people who like to relax and enjoy some privacy. When you enter the hotel you feel like you’ve left the rest of the world outside. There is a bar right next to the pool, where you also take your breakfast. Very nice mornings. We felt very safe especially in regards to Covid. In case you have any allergies or intolerances, tell them beforehand and they will accommodate you. The rooms were as described in the picture. You wouldn’t hear any neighbors. Heraklion is not far, if you wanna go visit the city, although Hersonissos is largely enough for food and drinks and is only 5 minutes away by car.

Breakfast was great and simple with many different options to choose from, perfect to start you off for the day. The location was even better, nice and quiet and only 20 mins from Heraklion airport. Lovely places nearby like milatos beach, sarandari and the old town. Debbie and janis went above and beyond us to help us enjoy our stay, whether that is staying late for us to check in or giving us endless recommendations for places to go to nearby. We can't thank them enough. The place was immaculate and all the staff were so lovely to us.

Loved every single thing about it.

We searched high and low for a hotel in Crete and many just weren’t what we were after. We found Aqua Blu and we knew it was the one. On arrival we were not disappointed. Situated in a quite location just outside of Hersonissos town, this is perfect for a couples holiday. With only 10 rooms, we didn’t need to worry about racing to find a sunbed or if there was a decent table at breakfast. There were just enough people around along with the added bonus of adults only. Breakfast was perfect and very tasty and our sea-view room couldn’t have been better. We hired a car for the duration of our stay (with Sterling rentals who were also great) and there a large car park outside Aqua Blu with adequate parking. The hotel is approximately 30 mins drive from Heraklion and around 8 mins from Hersonissos, so it is perfectly situated. Hersonissos is a lively town with lots of bars and beach clubs and Heraklion is a beautiful city with lovely bars, restaurants and coffee shops. In short, we got the best of both worlds! I would recommend Aqua Blu 100% and we would be very happy to return. The staff made this stay even more of a treat and the hospitality was very personable. All members of staff made our holiday just that extra bit more memorable. Just to add, Aqua Blu offers a lunch menu but does not offer dinner. A dinner option would be the icing on the cake for this hotel - but you are not too far away from the lovely local restaurants.

It's a small lovely boutique hotel. It has everything u need, the two owners are super lovely and help you where they can. The facilitys are super clean and modern. It was the best decision to stay here during our holiday. And I would recommended a rental car. All in all... Absolutely recommendable.

This cosy, modern and small size hotel is a perfect place to relax and forget all the daily problems. The hotel was built recently, so spacious rooms have new equipment. For breakfast we had big portions and could easily share. The products were always fresh and of a good quality. The staff was very attentive to our needs and ready to help. There was always a choice either to stay in the cosy sunbeds around the swimming pool or to go to the sea which is in 5 minute walk from the hotel. Some evenings we stayed in the bar near the swimming pool, where the owner of the hotel gave us some good advice on the places to visit. The owners were very welcoming and were trying to make our stay comfortable. This is why when we were leaving, we were already thinking to return back.

Brand new hotel that working only second year. I was living in the room which have been used only for 1 MONTH, everything in the room was brand new. Hotel staff was great, all of them! I was feeling like home with friends! Breakfast was really good, but I strongly advice you to order a Greek salad there for dinner. It cost only 5 euro, but it was the best Greek salad from my 9 days trip in Greece and also in lifetime . It cooked with home made olive oil from owner and it was delicious (the best). If I ever will visit Crete again, its definitely place to stay. And BIG hello to Agapi, Despina and Yannis !

No fault of the hotel but as there are is no dinner available in the hotel, we would have been better off with a car hire so we could come and go more frequently.

The breakfast and staff were so kind and accommodating. It’s a lovely quiet and small hotel. The hosts were lovely and I’d definitely return.

New hotel. The staff is amazing, Debbie the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make us happy with our stay at the hotel. Stunningly designed rooms! Great value for money! We will definitely be back there again.

We had wonderful 2 weeks at Aqua Blu. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Pool area and Bar is also very nice and we could choose different things for breakfast every day. By far the best was the warm heart of Iannis and Depy and their staff - they tried to make a good time for everyone, were there for any questions/recommendations or just a chat at the bar. We enjoyed the whole 2 weeks!

Aqua Blu was the last hotel we stayed in on our vacation, and it was the best experience! It’s true that the hotel is situated a bit far from the town, but the plus is that all big hotels are also quite far:) It was so calm and relaxing! The hotel is quite small in terms of rooms, but even though almost all were booked, there was no inconvenience at all: when the majority of people were out near the pool, you could barely notice that, nobody disturbed anyone and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. We liked the pool and the sun beds, and the inner yard overall looked nice and cozy and pleasant to stay in. There is also a small bar at the pool where you can order some drinks. The room felt quite spacious thanks to zoning and we had a balcony to the inner yard. We liked the interior, everything looked brand new and stylish. We had a car with us as it was the easiest way to get to the hotel. Also, it’s the fastest way to go to the town centre. We didn’t go to the beach (the pool was too nice) but we walked along it. There are some shops with souvenirs, some cafes to have a dinner in (we did, it was good), some beaches with sun beds. At the hotel we had breakfast and it was served individually on the tray (you needed to choose from the list what you would like to have and leave it at the reception the evening before). The breakfast was standard but nourishing:) The hotel staff was super nice and helpful! It was an extremely comfortable stay, I’m happy we found this hotel, we should have spent at least a week there:)
