How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything was perfect. Owners are amazing. They take care of everything. They are so positive with good energy, helpful, very kind and have a good manners. Thank You Michail and Eleni. Thank you for tasty breakfast which we don’t expect. Breakfast was served by owner who took care of every detail. There is beautiful garden with many fruits trees. View from this place is so relaxing, sea view, mountains view and nice nature. Pure serenity and chill out. If you like animals there are 3 friendly dogs and cats. I and my husband were on holiday with our mothers. They are completely mesmerized by this place and said that they wouldn’t switch this accommodation to 5 stars hotel when they used to be before. Falasarna is magical place. We were 6-th time and still hypnotized by the beauty of this place. Previously we booked Falasarna Bay and it was very good but this time our holiday was the best of all times in Falasarna. Thank you 🙏❤️

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the exceptional hospitality of Michalis and Eleni during my stay at Aqua Marine. Their warm and attentive care truly made my visit special. What stood out was the delightful homemade marmalade served at breakfast, a testament to Michalis and Eleni's dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience. The central location of Aqua Marine was convenient for exploring local attractions and enjoying the beach. However, what truly made my stay remarkable was the genuine and personalized attention provided by Michalis and Eleni. Their commitment to creating a wonderful stay for each guest is truly admirable. It was perfect no faults what so ever!
Mike is absolutely Amazing as was Elaani; the loveliest hosts ever. They are the most wonderful hosts and made me feel very welcome from the minute I walked through the door. The location is superb close to two fantastic restaurants, and there is an ATM close by. The breakfast was superb, home cooked and authentic, of s gourmet quality. I will definitely be staying here again when back in Falassarna!!

The property is located very close to the Falasarna Beach, it is quiet, clean and there is plenty of parking on the property. The owners are very friendly, made me feel I’m home. Breakfast is excellent! I would definitely go back.

Everything was perfect. Very nice stay, friendly host. Location 4 min by foot from the nearest beach. We also got delicious breakfast, even if it wasn't in the offer.

Very very nice owners. Wonderful terrace where they serve breakfast with selfmade marmelade, sometimes cake, bread, fruit and greek yoghurt. 3 nice beaches which you can reach by foot easy...little downhill/uphill...tranquil private location I would definately book again. Also some nice restaurants nearby.

They had some issue with the electricity (only for few hours during the night) due to a storm, but it had no impact on us.
We liked the location, very close to all the beaches. Also, the bus station is just across the street, so you do not need a taxi to get here. The terrace is quiet and full of flowers. The owners of the place are really nice, they also prepared Greek breakfast for us.

walking distance to beach - air con in both rooms, little kittens in the garden (awesome for children) close to shop (better to go to kissamos though as cheaper prices. Food: go to kapetan Nicholas and visit bakery in kissamoss Παπαδάκης Αρτοζαχαροπλαστείο. go to samaria goerege (this is where 95% of create water comes from
