Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomII wanted to arrive and feel like I was really in Corfu and you couldn’t find anywhere that was more traditionally like old Corfu. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, I went with my daughter who’s 15 and we arrived in the evening straight from the plane and had a glass of wine and an apple juice on the terrace and they brought nuts and a traditional dish of sticky pear complimentary. The room was full of character and we had a balcony. Breakfast was amazing … local dishes just kept coming. We hope to visit again soon.

United KingdomIf you want a big, shiny, bland corporate hotel Archontiko Petrettini is not for you. This is a small hotel in a beautiful Venetian style building that has been owned and run by the same family for many years, and they do it very well. They are lovely people and do everything they can to make sure you have a comfortable stay. It is quite special, full of history, and little bit quirky and eccentric, but in the best possible way. The hotel has many old and interesting pictures, furniture and ornaments, and the garden is a delight, with many beautiful old flowering shrubs and trees. It's a great place to have breakfast on the terrace and the breakfasts are amazing, always more than we could possibly eat. It is served to your table, with so many different and tasty things they have a job fitting it all on! The rooms are clean and comfortable, there is air con and ours had a huge ceiling fan for which we were very grateful. The bed was a dream! The Hotel is situated in a small and peaceful hamlet right in the middle of the island, a great place to be. There is a place to park your car either on the street or in a tree shaded enclosure just across from the hotel. It's only a 15 minute drive from the airport. We definitely intend to return. It was one of the most pleasant and relaxing hotel stays we've ever had and we can't recommend it highly enough!

United KingdomThe bathroom was very old-fashioned - the building itself is charming but the bathroom facilities needed updating. Breakfast was very substantial but a little too heavy for our liking.
The staff, Elena and Olga, were marvellous. The hotel is full of faded charm, with a beautiful garden. The setting was lovely - in a quiet village and close to the local taverna.

GermanyWe didn't have the chance to try many of the pastries during the breakfast, as everything is being served to the table. It was a pity to think that it will be disposed. Local team explained that this way of serving breakfast was chosen to provide guests with an additional comfort. I think maybe the main breakfast can be served and a few other items can be offered as buffet. It's up to you, just an idea :)
Very welcoming hosts, spacious and well lit rooms, very beautiful garden where you will be served a lovely local breakfast. We slept very well, clean and fresh bed linen with all the toiletries provided. Olga welcomed us with a short introduction about the house and its history, very nice touch. For the price we paid, and for standards offered in Corfu, this place is definitely a hidden gem. We will come back for a longer stay for sure!

SwitzerlandIt is a historic place in a beautiful area of Corfu. The building is fantastic, with lots of athmosphere, wonderfully furnished and the architecture of the building is outstanding, incl. the wonderful garden, which is more like a park and the swimming pool is top! Very friendly host and staff, who also tell you intersting facts about the builidung and its history. This hotel is for people who look for a special experience, highly recommendable.

FranceThe bathtub were stuck, shower curtain would be great.
One of my greatest experience! Rest, peace and kindness was all I needed, and I found it here. I wish i had stayed longer. First of all it’s located in a peaceful nature environnement ; fruit trees, swimming pool, birds humming, the garden is beautiful to watch. You can feel the history of the place that makes a very familial and hommy ambiance. I had the best customer service in a hotel, as the care is very genuine and details oriented. Staff is kind, friendly and thoughtful Breakfast is amazing, fruits from the garden, organic food… Delicious Local taverna on the square out of the hotel. I basically felt at home, and this place place was a real peace of mind!

GreeceProper natural Corfiot butter next time, please. Not Vitam...
Exceptional place !!! Exceeded all my expectations. The welcome by Elena was warm and the sweet bergamot treat and the G&T most refreshing in the verdant garden. Slept soundly and was greeted by Olga in the morning with a most sumptuous, scrummy breakfast. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Valeria, the owner, went out of her way to make me very welcome and explain in detail the fascinating history of the Archontiko and its important past owners. It all became so real to me! I promised to come back with my wife in the summer and we will make the Archontiko our regular stop over place in Corfu. WELL DONE TEAM !!! FANTASTIC PLACE...

GermanyThe hotel is situated on a hill, right next to a small village square where there is a small taverna where an elderly couple cooks traditional dishes. Villa Petrettini is like a time capsule, you step in and wake up in a bygone century, but the service, breakfast and facilities are up to contemporary standards in all areas. The staff are always open-hearted and helpful and I have rarely felt more comfortable in an accommodation. 10/10

You can park free just in front the house, and the little town is lovely. 350 meters you have 2 small restaurant just in front of a playground, perfect for parents who travel with the kids 😉
