The bed was very uncomfortable and the shower too small.

The hotel owner was very friendly, he let us check in a bit earlier and there was a possibility of staying by the pool after checking out we were also offered free towels for the sunbeds.

- The hotel itself is really nice and cozy. My room is exactly the same as the one I booked. - Wifi is good for all the apps I need. - I love the breakfast, variety of choices and really delicious! - Location is good, if you take local bus from Fira, after get off from bus stop will be like 10 mins walk. A bit tired because with luggages. To the beach area and main area in Kamari is very near like 10 mins walking time. - I would say which makes the hotel the best is the staff!!! I arrived early and when Ms. Caterina saw me, she is so kind to invite me for the breakfast. Santorini is my 4th stop for my mini Europe trip and I had been arrived early for many hotels but she is the only one who invited me for complimentary breakfast, that’s really kind and sweet of her and the hotel. Also during the whole stay she is so friendly to greet me and check if I need anything whenever she see me. I can see her work very hard, not only taking care of the breakfast but also the housekeeping part, but she never forgets her smile, a very warm person to make me a solo traveler feel very safe and touched. The other highlight person is Mr. Konstantinos. He is also a very kind person, the travel tips he gave about Santorini is really really helpful, really appreciate for the time he spent to explain all of it. The way he welcome the guests is feeling like friend.

Great location. Close to the airport, sea and restaurants and at the same time in a peaceful and quiet place. Clean large room. Well-kept and clean pool. Great view of the mountains. Nice, friendly and helpful owner. Good breakfasts. Hotel day until noon. A great plus is the fact that despite the fact that we had flight after 10 p.m., we could easily leave our luggage and use the swimming pool and hotel infrastructure. We could take a shower and go to the airport in the evening. I highly recommend staying in Areti :-)

I didn't have any complaints at all. Everything was just perfect in the very romantic beautiful city of Santorini. Whenever we came back from one of our trips, we always felt that the hotel was welcoming us back to our home.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is a 3 star hotel with 5 star service. Konstantinos, who is the Manager of the hotel although everyone thinks he is the owner because he goes above and beyond the call of duty. The rooms are very nice and there is everything in it that you could possibly want and if there is something you need, Konstantinos and Catarina his right hand lady will help you with whatever you want day or night. The pool area is very large as is the pool and one feels very relaxed all the time. Jason, who tends the bar is very nice and helpful and can make you a delicious cocktail or snack any time of the day. The breakfast is delicious and there is nothing there that you would want for. It is all made with care and attention and it is very peaceful in the breakfast room. There is a book shelf where you can help yourself to a book if youve forgotten yours at home and fancy reading something. The hotel is very child friendly and there is a kids pool which makes it easy for the parents to watcfh their children. All in all this is a superb 3 star hotel with 5 star treatment. The Captain of the ship is Maria and although she isnt here too much, she is the one who makes sure that everything runs smoothly in the capable hands of Konstantinos. I am not sire how it works in Greece, but I always give each person in the hotel a tip when I come and when I go to say thank you for all their help in making my stay so memorable. Thank you so so much to Konstantinos for everything you helped us with from our dietary needs to calling the chemist to check on a medication to getting us a newspaper when we personally asked him to going above and beyond the call of duty. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel in the near future as it ticks all my boxes. Thank you Maria, Konstantinos and all your lovely staff for a stay of a lifetime. We have been to many hotels, 5 stars included and this one was a very special and unusual hotel.

This was a great hotel for exploring the island. Konstantinos, the manager, was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location which is a short walk away from the beach and lots of restaurants. There is also a bus stop close which takes you to the main town of Fira. Konstantinos recommended we hired a car and we are so pleased we did as we were able to explore the whole island at only just 55 euros. Breakfast was great and so was the swimming pool..clean, relaxing and very refreshing! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean, classy and superb value. The pool area and outdoor lounge/bar were perfect for relaxing. Close to the beach action but far enough away to offer a quieter experience. Konstantinos is the best host ever 👍🏼 We had a short stay but will reserve for longer next time.

Everything is great at this property. The hotel is in walking distance from the beach, rooms are clean and fresh. Konstantinos is very welcoming and helpful host. Katarina prepares a wonderful breakfast. Would be happy to stay there on my next visit.

Shower is quite small so water floods the bathroom, especially after 4 people have showered (but not a major issue as dried out by the time we got back in evening) The hotel is situated just outside the main resort of Kamari, the road up to the hotel is very dark and there’s no pavements, cars drive very fast up the road so felt a little vulnerable with my daughter walking back in the evenings, however a flash of my phone torch helped to slow people down slightly.

The hotel is incredibly clean and the staff were wonderful. Konstantinos was very welcoming and was on the other end of the phone any time we needed anything, taxi’s, restaurant recommendations etc. The pool area is lovely, very clean and peaceful. Jason (who runs the pool bar) was great and couldn’t do enough for us. Bed linen was nice and beds comfortable. The hotel is very quaint and has lots of Greek charm. Only a 10 min walk to all shops/bars/restaurants/beach. Konstantinos allowed us to keep our room on past check out as our flight home was late which was very kind.

Areti Hotel is a great hotel! They were very flexible and willing to accommodate both early check-in and late check-out. The owner gave us many recommendations for places to visit and restaurants on the island, using a map, and was very accommodating to our every wish, including arranging a cab. He responded immediately whenever we contacted him. All of the staff were very friendly, smiling and pleasant to deal with. The rooms are not brand new but very beautifully kept and clean. The pool water was clean and most pleasant, and the beds were very comfortable. Anyway, I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful, highly recommended hotel! I would definitely come back here!
