The hospitality of the owner was the best. For us it was a good location. The hotel is up the mountain, it’s very quiet and an amazing view on the lake is really breathtaking. Everything is new, clean and nice-looking. We will definitely go back to this hotel once again.

A kitchenette in the suite would have been nice, but the fact that they served breakfast was helpful. Fresh fruit and yogurt for breakfast would have complemented all the bread options. Also, Google took me to the lower route (near the hotel) which had a very steep hill that was hard on my car's engine. The upper way takes you to the sign for the hotel and it's a more natural grade.

The place was beautiful, very clean, and had a wonderful view of the lake and the city. The bathroom was luxurious. They had two sofa-beds already made for us when we arrived. They had English translation available by phone call, though we did fine with our limited Greek. The host was super-friendly. There was also a place with a nice taverna and coffee bars just a few minutes walk.

Wonderful family run hotel with amazing views over the lake. Rooms are spacious with a nice place to sit by the window and enjoy the view. The whole family did everything to make your stay enjoyable, special complements to yaya for making a wonderful individual breakfeast served in the room due to covid regulations. The village is quiet, but there are some trendy cafés and a tavern which get very much alive in the evening. We could not have asked for more.

A very beautiful hotel up on the hill overlooking Ioannina! The owners were exceptionally friendly! The room was in very good condition and included everything we needed. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

The pull out couch was very uncomfortable to sleep in. I woke up with a back ache. And the air conditionning wasn't great either. The temperature never went below 27.5 °C (81.5 °F). It was better once we opened the window. The mosquito net for the door to the terrace was broken. So we only opened the window in the bedroom which had a working mosquito net.

Arktos Hotel is located in the mountains with a great view of Ioannina. It is 15-30 min away from Ioannina though. The owners were very nice and accommodating. They recommended a great restaurant to eat near by. The suite looked just like in the pictures. It was very clean which is very important to us. The bed in the bedroom was pretty comfy.

The air conditioner was broken and we had 29 degrees in the room. And the owner didnt said anything when we checked in. We were by the lake and in the evening when we came back we had 29 degrees in the room. At 22 pm we talked with the owner and he said it s broken, just open the windows. That was all, just open the windows in the middle of the sumner. We opened the windows and we had moskitos and dogs were barking the whole night. I didnt slept at all. It's the second (and the last time) we were here. The owner is responsible for the guests, making sure you get rested and everything is ok. What you do if you have a 7-800km ride back home? What if you have an accident because you are tired? It's not all about the money. It's about beying onest and fair with your customers. And it was fair to tell us when we checked in the a.c. unit is broken, and we wouldnt stayed there. Doesnt matter if you have cleaned the room if we have 29 degrees in the night and I can't sleep. I'm sorry we visted you, never going to happen again...

The staff are welcoming and pleasant. The room is tastefully decorated and the facilities are very clean and comfortable. The location is great for those who want to spend a night in Ioannina and want a quiet, remote and pleasant place. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance. (We went back to the hotel for another night on the same trip!)
