Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GreeceNothing remarkable.
The family apartment was absolutely great and comfortable for 4 people. We really felt like home! The location is simply amazing, next to the path heading Agia Paraskevi's church in one of the most beautiful villages in Zagorochoria! We also ate in their restaurant and enjoy their food! We felt in love with the place and their people!

IsraelGreat hotel, that is run by a lovely family! The room was spacious, with a small terrace, and a comfortable bathroom. Breakfast is exactly what you need (vegetables, yogurt, cheese, ham, freshly baked goods, eggs, etc.). The hosts were very friendly and made sure everything is ok with our stay. Probably one of the best hotels we stayed in during our time in Greece, would 100% stay again.

IsraelThe directions to the hotel could have been better, you need to park the car outside the village and walk to the hotel. The shower was a bit crowded.
The breakfast was a bit small but very nice. The room have a very cute balcony with good views of the mountain and the town.

The hotel is located perfectly in the center of the very peaceful and attractive village . Our room was spotlessly clean and attractive and ideal for our five nights stay. The breakfast was excellent and set us up perfectly for the days trekking which is really amazing in this area. They also have a wonderful restaurant and specialize in Italian food which was just superb. The best part though for us was the wonderful staff, it’s family run and they were such great hosts, lots of advice and some great laughs with these guys, a really great time here thanks.

United KingdomThis property more than exceeded our expectations. I can find little to fault it.
Breakfast was exactly what was needed, all served with a fabulous smile. A wonderful interior to the hotel, especially the dining area. We had one dinner there which was also first class. The family running the business are so welcoming.

IsraelA family hotel in a lovely village, in my opinion the most worthwhile place in Zagoria. We stayed at the hotel for four nights; Sofia and her two sons, Christos and Theodore were charming, made us feel at home. Spacious rooms, excellent service, generous breakfast. The hotel also has an Italian restaurant with a selection of excellent and delicious dishes. And most importantly, it's their humanity and caring. warmly recommended!

PolandPart of our stay was during a heat wave and the room got quite hot. A small fan would be great for such days. It cooled down during the night though (Monodendri is at above 1000 meters altitude). Wifi signal did not reach our room.
Great location in the centre of Monodendri near the plateia, in the car-free part of the village (there is a free parking just 100 meters away). The trailhead for the Vikos Gorge is almost at your door. Another highly recommended hike is a walk to the villages of Vitsa, Koukouli and Kipi. We had a charming traditional room with a balcony, furhished with taste, very comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast, a power boost to start an activity-packed day.

NetherlandsNo AC, but it Cools off at night in the mountains. Also we had an economy room next to the terras, so that means some noice in the evening.
Location in the mountains, town itself and the peace there was a welcome break from the busy other parts of our trip in Greece. The surroundings in the erea is absolute beautiful. Visited mountain tops, did hiking trails, driving stunning mountain roads, natural springs and lakes. Need to have some control over your car, because there are some dangerous roads, but its is worth it. Also the food at the restaurant for dining and included breakfast from the hotel was very good!

CyprusCozy place, friendly staff, wonderful location. Ideal to relax and leave all town stress behind, as it combines the warmth of a stone-and-wood structure along with spectacular views and many short and long hiking routes surrounding it. We really enjoyed our time there. Definitely will return there again.

CyprusBy far our best stay in all of our travels! Monodendri is a picturesque village in the Zagori area. On our arrival, the first feeling we got is that this was taken out of a fairy tale or a movie. Beautiful village with cobblestone streets, buildings made out of traditional stone, and everything surrounded by nature. Then we are greeted by this super friendly and welcoming family that owns Arktouros Hotel. When entering our apartment, this feeling of being in a fairy tale is enhanced by this super spacious apartment, beautifully decorated to go with the village vibes and make you feel comfortable. To top it off the breakfast was really delicious, the hotel had a nice cafe/restaurant offering craft beer, delicious pizzas and pastas and great deserts. And if that wasnt enough, the village is a starting point for the trail to vikos gorge, offers another great trail to an abandoned monastery, and its centrally located to the rest of zagori villages, so you could easily visit Aresti village and go for rafting to voidomatis river, or visit dilofo, kipous and tsepelovo on the other side of the mountains. Also the village offers a lot of nice and traditional taverns and coffee shops, with the pies being the definitely thing to try. We got a lot of nice suggestions from the owners regarding day trips and activities to try. Thank you for making this an unforgettable experience, definitely recommended to everyone thinking of visiting the Zagoroxoria!
