It isn't 5 star like people have said but we loved it. Great location,, very clean, we had a double balcony which was awesome and staff were amazing and so friendly.

I liked absolutely everything. Maria was very kind - she wrote, explained, advised, always smiling like the sun. Our room was like a work of art - bright, beautifully decorated, with thoughtful style. Everything was very clean and was cleaned every day. Everything was thought of, including the mosquito nets at the window and balcony. The sea at the door and only restaurants along the entire beach. We had very beautiful and fond memories of this place. We definitely want to come back here.

We have been for 14 days with our 6 month old baby in the Arlen Beach Hotel. Maria and Jannis made us feel like comming home from the first moment. With Melissa and Baris it felt for us like living in a small greek Familie. They took so much care about our child and gave us such a warm, lovely and pleasurend stay. We can highly recomend this hotel. Our room had a awesome sea view, the pool has been a calm and relxing area, the greek breakfast , the Café and the fruit drinks has been tasty and the first opportunity to swim in the ocean or to have dinner is just across the street. Nothing. We have stayed here before and it is one of my favourite location/ hotels for a relaxing break in a family run hotel.

Arlen Beach is a lovely small hotel in the quieter part of Hersonnisos but very close to cafes bars sandy beach and shops. The large apartment has all the facilities you need for self catering, with a good sized bathroom. and are spotless . It features a large balcony with a stunning view overlooking the sea and coastline. The hotel has a good size garden/pool/lounger area that gets the sun all day and there are plenty of loungers. . There is a lift and parking in front and to the side of the hotel. Maria, Yannis and the staff are kind and helpful and the location and facilities make it excellent value for money. Excellent stay! The location of the hotel and apartment view are fantastic. Spacious room with everything needed including oven and fridge. The pool is big. Yannis and Maria are exceptional hosts with great attitude to the guests. I definitely recommend choosing this hotel for long stays.

The host Maria, her husband and Melissa were very welcoming. They had good local knowledge and gave us great advice on places to visit. Great location beach side. A beautiful lap of the sea could be heard from our room. Our view was breathtaking. The pool was clean and ample comfortable loungers available. The room was of good proportions and had exceptional amenities.

Waking up to the sound of sea waves was great. Good location next to bus stop and main street for shopping and eating. Also hotel was exceptionally clean starting from the room and ending with a pool. Pool itself was perfect, there were days we were alone using it. Missing it already.

Excellent hotel, really good value for the price you pay, very clean, with a wonderful view of the bay from the terrace. The apartment is spacious and has all needed facilities. The pool is big enough and spotless. The owners are so, so kind and willing to help. I totally reccomend this place!

The only let down was the bed which creaked everytime you moved waking you up and the mattress was so soft. my husband had to sleep on the sofa because his back needs a firm mattress

Excellent location on the beach near to bars and restaurants. Hosts Maria and Yannis were friendly and welcoming. Huge apartment fully equipped for self catering. Excellent pool.

The only downside in the apartment was their was no air con in the lounge, just a fan, so it got very warm at night. We also found it a little noisy due to a group of lads staying there but to be fair the owners were very apologetic and spoke to the group several times about their late night behaviour. They clearly were not the usual clientele of this lovely family hotel.

The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was spacious and had a lovely balcony with sea view, complete with table and four chairs. The bedroom was large and had excellent wardrobe storage, the kitchen and lounge were perfect for our needs as a family of four. We used the pool daily and, despite it being August, often had it to ourselves. The whole place was very clean too. Location was great - near a strip of lovely beachfront restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the town where there were supermarkets, souvenir shops and restaurants/bars. The owners were lovely, always ready to have a chat and offer advice if needed.

The decor in the room, lobby, and swimming pool had a charming retro vibe, almost as if expecting the A-Team, the cast of Friends, or someone sporting a Walkman to show up. But considering the price point, it's a quirky touch that adds character. All in all, it's great value for the money!

The seafront location is absolutely breathtaking, placing you right at the heart of everything. Coupled with friendly staff and spacious rooms, it's exactly what you'd expect from a hotel in this price range. A delightful stay!

Arlen Beach hotel is located in a quite area, still close to everything. The beaches near are very small and claustrofobic for my taste, but the water clear and lovely for swimming. Some walk further and you will find larger beaches. The pool at the hotel is spotless clean, large and nice and me and my young son was there having fun all day. Free sunbeds and sourounded by garden. Nice calm music. Our room was silent, really big, clean , matress soft and veranda overlooking palms and sea. We loved it!!! Owner couple and staff superfriendly. A home away from home. .

Leaving after 5 days.

The location is right on the sea. Beautiful views and cool in the afternoon on the balcony. The pool is lovely to cool off in and you can have drinks around it. The staff and owners are very helpful and very friendly assisting with everything. Nightlife is in walking distance all over as are all the restuarants and town. Our second stay there and we will be back.

Have just returned from this fabulous hotel. From moment we arrived nothibg was too much trouble for ths owners Ioannis and Maria. We were in room 102 a ground floor apartment. Not sure if all rooms are same size but ours was huge and had a separate living room and bedroom.. large balcony overlooking the sea. Special mention to the cleaner whi kept the hotel spotless to the extent that her friend had a house fire while we were there and the cleaner's children were in the house. Luckily everyone got out safely but Maria told us that our room might be a bit late to be cleaned that day. I told her not to worry as it wont kill us to not have cleaning for one day .but she insisted if the cleaner didnt do it she would do the cleaning herself. Anyway the cleaner arrived and completed her work to her usual high standard Pool area was also kept spotless and most days we were the only ones in there. Hotel is in a great location within a few minutes walk of many good restaurants. Also a few minutes walk to shops where we spent far too much money . I have been to Crete before but not Hersonnissos. So would I go again. Definately yes. Would i stay at Arlen Beach hotel again. A million times yes.
