We loved our stay at Artemis apartments. We had an incredible sea view from the rooms as well as our large terrace. And the small virtually private beach was perfect for a dip first thing in the morning, as well as a peaceful place to sunbathe away from the crowds. I would recommend swim shoes as like many beaches in Crete there were stones but the water was crystal clear and calm so some good snorkelling! There were a couple of other small beaches and restaurants in walking distance. The owner was lovely and even left us some wine and some homemade cake. Thoroughly recommend!

This place is awesome! It's far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to go to many restaurants and different places. The room is decorated nicely with a great shower and kitchenette and great porch facing the sea. There is a little private beach for Artemis guests and the owners are awesome. The restaurant next door has the same views and awesome staff. We would highly recommend this place and WILL be back! Thanks for a great stay.

Artemis seafront apartments is the perfect place for family’s vacation! The location is great and the private and quiet beach 🏝️ is more than you can imagine! And if it’s not good enough, you’ll find there Mimi’s tavern, that is one of the best tavern I found in cret🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷

You can hear the street, but we were able to block it out. Also, it's difficult to find anything in the area so close to the beach that isn't close to the road. Due to the proximity to the sea, you should throw the toilet paper in the toilet bucket. However, this is emptied daily and is odour-proof.

we loved the view of the sea. it's true, the sunsets are absolutely amazing! artemis is very friendly and we felt comfortable and welcome. it is cleaned every day and you could even order breakfast. our room was clean and had everything we needed! the bed was comfortable and the furnishings were nice.

amazing location where you have the sea 50m in front of your terrace. 2 nice tavernas within 200m on both sides. Good starting point to explore that part of the island (Rethymno and surroundings).

Everything! The owner gave us a very warm welcome, prepairing a bottle of wine and a cake for our arrival. The room is gorgeous, all facilities are there and you have a wonderful and relaxing terrace with direct access to the private beach. Attention to details is a masterpiece at Artemis. They also prepare a great breakfast which they bring at your terrace in the morning (they ask you what time). We already want to be back! THANK YOU ARTEMIS

Not much to complain, but with a baby it would be even better if we had an oven or a microwave in the kitchen.

Amazing place with sea views from the apartments. Artemis and husband are super friendly and always ready to support the guests. Only 15 min drive from Rethymno and 200m from an excellent Tavern with beach. Completely recommended!

There is a street nearby and if you are very sensitive for traffic noise maybe it's a problem. For us, we didn't notice it at all after a day and the sea sound will do the rest :) also the street is a good starting point for discovering the island.

Awesome place with a very friendly and helpful host. The view is stunning and in April/Mai there were so beautiful wildflowers all over the place the apartment was full of lovely details and you have to get the breakfast. We loved everything about it :)

Lots of plastic on the beach. I cleaned it myself, because I care about the nature. One day, the sea threw out huge pieces of plastic film and plastic boxes, and I put them next to a trash can on the beach, but for 5 days all this garbage was lying there, no one removed it. Every day sunbeds were in the same condition (with sand) in which guests left them the day before. To the nearest big supermarket - almost 4 km one way, you will definitely need a car.

Wonderful and cozy place. Beautiful design. Friendly owners. Private beach with a sunbeds in a few meters. Beautiful reef, nice place for snorkeling. Excellent tavern Klapsinos at a distance of 200 meters from the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen. Totally recommend!

The Cretan moskitoes are annoying.

This is the kind of accommodation suitable for people who want a quiet time in an uncrowded hotel, with a private wild beach you can access at any time, just a few steps down from one's room. Spectacular seascape all day long. The adjoining taverna served lovely food and such a friendly service!

The room was a bit small and was in an old and used condition. The shower was dirty and the kitchen equipment has also seen better days. It does need a renovation. The mattress was a bit uncomfortable. The beach chairs were in a bad condition

The location right at the water is just so beautiful and peaceful. The host artemis is very lovely and she made us a very nice breakfast on our terrace. It's a good place to just relax and there is a little beach right in front

We‘ve booked 2 nights, but we had to switch the apartement, after 1 night, because of the misorganisation of the apartment owner. There was no real sorry or any kind of compensation.
