The road was just in front of the property, which usually wouldn’t have bothered me bit a lot of times people would drive very fast and I could hear it in the apartment.

The rooms were nice and clean, just out of the window I could see the sea so the view was also really nice. The owner was so kind to let me stay over the check out time on my last day which was very helpful!! There is also a bigger supermarket very close. So location-wise is also very nice.

We have just returned from our holiday..It was a lovely apartment, beautiful location,balcony overlooking the ocean. Yes it is on a main road and at times a little noisy in the night but the sound of the ocean makes up for it and we didn't mind.. The apartment was lovely and clean, a/c in the bedroom, cleaned daily, and had a lovely cafe and bar attached to it which had absolutely great food and great service - and I am a fussy eater! Supermarket very close by (5min) 3 more resturants within a couple of minutes walk, and the village a 10min walk with more restaurants and supermarkets (no footpaths). Bus service to chania seems typical of overseas holidays- late..but very comfortable bus. Maria our host was always available with a friendly greeting.. Wi-Fi not always very strong but when your on holiday it's perfectly adequate! Overall we would absolutely come back here and would recommend it to other couples

Beautiful apartment with a view of one of the most lovely seas we’ve ever seen. Family run by very kind people. Clean, organized and stocked with everything necessary to cook a nice meal. In addition to all of this, there were boxes full of beach gear and books available for guests to enjoy. Thank you for a memorable trip!!

The bus stop is not very convenient to get to if you do not have a car. Otherwise there's a car parking space and the people are helpful. Nothing else in particular, maybe some noise from the street if the widnows are open.

The apartment facing the sea was amazing. It had all the basic requirements, plus the suipermarket was nearby. the beach is few minutes walk away. It also has a few lovely coffee places to have a coffee in the morning

it’s location just across the road from the sea. No beach at this location but there is a small café at the end of the block and across the road is a delightful cocktail bar. we had a one bedroom apartment with 2 balconies on the second floor. Maria and her son were very friendly and helpful. The apartments are at the western end of Kalives and it is a very pleasant walk along a quiet road to the main tavernas.

Really enjoyed our stay in Asterina Apartments. Perfect location in the middle of Western Crete. Amazing sunrise from your own balconys! Room was very clean and modern, good AC as well which is really needed in summer. The manager, Maria, was so friendly and caring host. You can get also tasty snacks from Cafe Delight for very reasonable price.

Superb views across the bay, some nice tavernas and coffee shops close by. A 15-20 minute walk into the centre of the village and main beach with all the facilties shops, atms and restaurants on hand. Regular bus service into Chania if you wish to visit this beautiful city, bus stop is right outside apartment. Main YNKA supermarket is only a 5 minute walk away.

Quiet location, relaxed view to the sea, super close to the beach with walking distance to tavernas, comfy bed and sofa, sleeping room separate form living room (great when you have kids with you), equipped kitchenette, super friendly owner who met us to give us the key and help with the luggage, gave us hints, was there to meet all our needs. It was a very comfortable stay with a small kid, great for family stay! Thank you so much, will return there!
