The rooms are located right above the main road, so when the balcony door is open, it can get a little noisy. However, the rooms are very well isolated, so when all is closed everything is good. (We also realised soon enough that no matter where you stay, it’s going to be a bit noisy if there is any road near, because in Crete many people drive quads and scooters, which are just noisy by default)

Our stay at Astir studios was great, the rooms were clean and cleaned regularly, a gorgeous beach was a 5min walk away and host Antonio and his mother were eager to make everything as enjoyable as possible :))

Antonio and his mother Zoe Zoe couldn't do enough for you, I arrived at the hotel 1 O'clock in the morning and Antonio was waiting for me to let me in. Such lovely people , if I go again I will book Astir Studios.

We had to change room half way our stay due to our room not being available.

The property was well managed by Andoni and his mother. The property was well located close to the beach and supermarket 2 minutes away from the hotel.

There is nothing to dislike

These apartments exceeded expectations, I cannot describe them other than to say amazing. Toni and his mum were so kind and caring, so knowledgeable about the island, the breakfasts.....what can I say.. beautiful home cooked food beyond delicious. There is no way I can rate this other than to say 20 out of 10 don't be put off by the cheap price we have stayed at 5* apartments that are not this good..

The only downside for me was that I found the walk into the village and back a bit difficult in the heat but my health isn't the best. Taxi was cheap enough.

Antonio the owner was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, he was so kind and respectful. I was alone and felt totally safe. The studios were spotless, beds and pillows were really comfortable, the bed was changed every few days as were the towels, the lady who cleaned was so good and always cheerful. I had a sea view from the balcony which had a lovely table and chairs. There was a great shaded seating area at the side of the property, no pool but could use the one at the property a few steps away. There are a few Tavernas close by and an easy walk to them. The bus stop to go to Hersonissos or Malia was close by and also a bakery.

forget about the not comftable bed , the staf was tins!! not welcoming , we arrive late because we walked alot to arrive tge place the location is not okay at all we eaited like half an hour untill the manger arrive to do the chick in and when we chicked out they asked us not to set on the couch of the place while we are waiting for the taxi
