Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe booked a deluxe apartment for 3 with Sea and Mountain view with air conditioning and free WIFI & SMART TV, agree we could see the sea and we had views of the mountains, so that was correct. not sure where the deluxe came from it was two rooms, which were a master bedroom with another room which had a unit with a travel cooker a fridge with a sink, the sofa that was in that room was made into a single bed and a toilet in-between (DELUXE) on the first night the heat in the room was unbearable to a point we all slept in the same bedroom moving the beds under the air conditioner to cool down, one small air conditioning unit for the whole apartment (shocking) to a point were our son was crying he wanted to go home. We asked the next day to hire a fan to which we were told "we will try and get one for you" ( i am still waiting) we bought a fan out of our pocket which made the next 2 weeks bearable. TV had 2 channels BBC world news and a german channel, 2 weeks of BBC world news. I made a beeline for the WIFI to which it didnt work in the master bedroom only in the second room. infact the WIFI to stream was inadequate all around the "village". The Shower is a hazard in itself as it fluctuated between hot, cold and scolding, we and others complained to the manager although nothing was done to rectify. To be fair if you are a couple and you want a cheap no hassle holiday to a beautiful part of Crete then its perfect but if you are a family and want a bit of the 20th (yep i said 20th not 21st) century then stay clear.

United KingdomWe had a one bedroom apartment which was okay for our short stay. Very basic self catering facilities. Bathroom okay but very dark. Window and balcony door frames rotting, pieces of paper wedged into gaps. Large balcony but in full sun all day, no shade or parasol, plastic sun chairs. My first impression was that it was dirty but it was not it was just old and in need of modernisation.
Friendly and very helpful reception staff 👍they could not have been better.
