The location is wonderful to shopping and nightlife. The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. I would recommend the Athos to anyone visiting Athens.

It exceeded my expectations

The location was excellent, you can walk everywhere in few minutes. Reaching from and to the airport is just easy, you can walk to train or bus station in 5 minutes. The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was so clean. The bonus of the hotel was the marvellous Acropolis view from the roof floor. You can enjot the view in the night

I did came home with evidence of bedbugs bites all over my legs, even though I inspected the bed thoroughly before and did not see evidence. I stayed at two other hotels during the trips and are unsure which hotel room was likely the one with bedbugs.

The Athos Hotel is well located with a helpful staff. The room was clean, the WiFi worked well. Not handicap accesible. The shower area could be considered small, with an overall average bathroom size. I never had breakfast because it starts serving at 7am, it is not included, and you have to notify the night before of your breakfast reservation, which is not overly convenient. There is a great restaurant directly across, a hole in a wall, but great food. Two bakeries very close by. The staff was, in general, helpful and very courteous.

Standard breakfast offer. It was a buffet with a couple of options to choose from, some sweet options as well. A very interesting thing was a sweet honey-made thing. The hotel standard was nice, it was really quiet

We would have preferred a double bed instead of two singles pushed together.

Perfect location with great staff. We could walk everywhere including the Plaka, Acropolis and central market. The view of the Acropolis from the roof top was wonderful.

First impression was small side street (I was wrong re location). Limited amenities but if you want clean, friendly and great walking location this is a find.

The location is excellent; the hotel is small but clean and the staff were all very helpful. The room was clean. As a bonus, the small restaurant right across the street is also excellent and had a line waiting every night. Also very good pizza, coffee, pastries and bakery on same the block.

Beautiful hotel with a rooftop terrace and views of the Acropolis! Clean and comfortable room. As others have stated, the bathroom and shower are very tiny, but we made it work. And they are updated and pretty, and the shower has great pressure. Great location for walking around the city. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We would stay here again and hopefully we'll be back because we love Greece!

The smallest shower cubicle I’ve ever seen. Probably not worth paying for the optional breakfast as there are so many places to eat nearby.

Nice little hotel in a quiet side street but just 5 mins walk from Syntagma Square and close to shops, cafes and restaurants. Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Air-conditioned rooms.

The hotel is convenient to all the major “must sees” in Athens. You can to everything, it is all easily connected. Restaurants galore. I had a great view of the Acropolis from my balcony and even better from the rooftop patio. Everyone there is very friendly

I thought it was a little cheap of the hotel that the staff asked for a euro for the water bottle that was in the mini fridge. It’s not about the money obviously, it’s just that they actually asked for a euro for a bottle of water that should have been and was assumed that was included.

It was the perfect spot to get around the Center of Athens. Couldn’t get any better.

Room was much smaller than expected, nowhere to put suitcases that was out of the way. The shower was also significantly smaller than expected, not ideal. Wifi was not great, kept dropping out. Not the most noise proof, we were on one of the lower floors so heard people moving around all the time. Aircon didn’t work at all so had to leave windows open the whole time for air flow.

Location was great, perfect spot for site seeing and food. View from rooftop was amazing. Staff were really lovely and accomodating, took care of us.

It might seem like a silly point, but we thought that there shouldn't be a charge for basic bottled water.

Really great location. The room was quiet, comfortable beds, and the staff was super-helpful. We dealt with Anna the most and she was lovely.
