The view outside most windows is not enjoyable and shows some abandoned buildings. The is no sea view unless you exit the inner courtyard. The apartments is located in the middle of a lively area surrounded by vivid taverns and a cocktail bar which plays music all night long. If you seek quietness this might not be the perfect place for you. We mostly enjoyed it though.

The owners were very warm and welcoming to us. Everything was arranged nice and comfortably. There was some coffee and breakfast snacks available when we entered the room so we did not even have to go shopping at the first night which made the arrival very relaxing. The family tavern operated by the apartment owners offered excellent food with sea view and the atmosphere was very welcoming as well. The beach is very close (~15m) so we could just take a quick swim without renting a set of sunbeds + umbrella.

Everything was perfect!

We loved everything about Athena’s apartment: the cleanliness, attention to every small detail, and very hospitable reception! It is also much more spacier than you can judge from the photos.The apartment is located in 30 seconds from the sea, and right next to chill-out bar and the most delicious restaurant in Messonghi, that actually belongs to Athena’s family! Messonghi is quite small, so souvenir shops and big supermarkets are close by.

It was lovely in every way. The apartment itself was perfectly finished with everything you need - modern, air conditioned, well stocked, spacious, pretty courtyard and perfectly positioned with an 8 second walk to the beach and the most charming tastefully decorated beach bar. Athena and her family were the most warm and hospitable hosts. We immediately felt at home and settled into the village’s rhythm.

The best stay you can ever find! The Appartement is so comfortable, nice and lovely. You have literally everything you need. And the care of the owners is amazing. You will get all help and support for any question you may have. The Appartement is very clean and everything is thought out to the details, so you’ll feel like home. All looks exactly as on photos. The bed is very comfortable and the balcony is so cozy. The location is more than perfect: the sea, nice tavernas, shops and bus station is all 1 minute walk. Will definitely recommend and will come again!

We didn't like being there for only one week. :D

We liked the host, the apartment, the location, and the sense of being integrated into the rhythm of local life. The host is friendly, warm, and happy to engage in social interaction with a smile on her face. She helped us with the shuttle from and to the airport, and with other information. The apartment is well equipped with everything that one could need, everything is new, modern, functional, and decorated with good taste. There's also a beautiful patio with a sea view. The location is about 10 meters from the sea, yet somehow protected from the crowd. The host's family taverna (serving excellent food) is also meters from the apartment, and the bus station, car rental company, tavernas, and 2 supermarkets are also within a 5-minute walk.

A wonderful bright and spacious apartment! the host kindly met us to show us around and make us feel at home. very clean and had all the necessary utensils/ cooking supplies/ snacks etc. even had two beers in the fridge! very close to main area and beach bars. A lovely homely atmosphere! great value - we would definitely return!

There was a problem with the water, which seemed to affect the whole village, due to a burst water pipe. We had cold showers with no water pressure all week. While this was outside of the hosts control, an emergency water tank would be helpful.

Great apartment just steps from the beach. It was very well equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday. The hosts Athena and Petros were lovely. They even put some sunbeds in the garden for us as have mobility difficulties. It was a perfect beach holiday and we would love to return.

There was a lot of street noise despite the windows being closed. It's next to a lot of bars with very loud and rowdy patrons and also the street next to it seems to be popular with loud bikers and their toxic fumes.

The flat is huge and has a fully kitted kitchen. The cupboards even have tupper wear boxes. The AC works very well which was needed in 30C weather. Bathroom is clean and wonderful. Location is great - 10 min via river boat to Messonghi and right next to supermarkets as well.
