How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The area looks a bit iffy with lots of grafiti but is really quiet and safe
The room was spacious and very comfortable with a lot of amenities (slippers/bathrobe/toothbrush/shaverset/tea/coffee/free bottles of water etc. Breakfast was also amazing and served on the rooftop terrace (not too much view since the building is not that tall) and the staff was wonderful and very helpful!

The shower was a little compact and, while fine for me (I am a 6' tall man), I imagine it might be a little tight for larger people. The bathroom was very modern and spotlessly clean though.
I loved the location of this hotel which is only a few minutes walk from Monastiraki Square, and even closer to a delightful collection of bars and restaurants with outside tables on narrow streets. Very atmospheric. And the Acropolis is only 20 mins walk away - no need for buses or taxis. The hotel is just a door and a stair case at street level (you need to look for it) but has four floors of very comfortable rooms and a roof top terrace behind this unprepossessing facade. The staff were all very friendly and all speak English. And it was quiet, despite being in the heart of the city. For me, this was a perfect place to stay for a city break in Athens and very good value.

It is located on a side street which is a bit dingy with graffiti which is discouraging. However, the Hotel is very clean and the staff are very nice. So it was fine. I would happily stay here again.
It is close to the metro line from the airport. It is within walking distance from Monastiraki square. My room was quiet with no noise from the street or the market. I am a solo woman traveller so I like a quiet place. I had a vignette room and it was very suitable for me. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was served in a room with a patio and was excellent with a wide variety of good quality food. The bathroom was small but big enough for me and the shower was good.

The curtains were not light proof, if they could get darker ones. Rooms on the 4th floor are too close to the kitchen and it can get noisy early in the morning
The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, I loved the display and also the fact that you can order extra from the menu. The room was clean, spacious and modern. The location was amazing, 5 mins walk to Psiri and Monasteraki square.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good. There is a kettle and coffee maker in the room. The hotel is a short stroll from Monasteraki Square and the metro, and also to restaurants and tavernas of Psirri.

Brilliant location. Close to many shops. Half way between 2 Metro stations - Omonia & Monastiraki. Which are about a 6min walk. Best to use Monastiraki if going to & from the airport do you don’t have to change trains. The staff at the front desk were all helpful & friendly & the breakfast included was a bonus. The rooms which were newly renovated were small but very clean & compact. Would definitely stay again.

The room is small but comfy, the staff is super helpful - George gave very good recommendations for traditional Greek restaurants and told it all about different areas of the city. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, with possibility to request meals from the breakfast menu (in addition to the typical hotel breakfast table). The area, despite looking a bit worn out, is safe and very close to the Psirri area, that hosts numerous bars and restaurants. The hotel is just a few minutes by foot away from Monastiraki square. All in all - very good choice if you're looking to stay in a central area.

It’s a small problem. My room is on the same level as breakfast area. So there is some smell that gets into the room. I don’t really mind it as I only stay for one night.

If you take a shower, make sure to keep the floor on the other side of the shower door clear. The shower door does not have the best seal, so water will get on the floor outside. Or you could put a towel there.
The location was great, and the staff were very friendly. The staff member at the front desk gave me some suggestions for dining options and locations to see, and some of them became the highlights of my trip. The breakfast given was also very delicious. The window of my room opened up into the elevator shaft, which I found a little odd, but other than that, my room was very comfy and enjoyable.

Nothing worth mentioning
We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. A very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was rich. Just walk across the street and a three minutes walk you are at the tavernas pubs and cafes. A very lively area to spend your nights, close to the hotel but far enough that you are not disturbed by the noise. What made our stay better was absolutely the staff with their friendly attituded. Thanks George K and Vasili for all your help BUT a very special thanks to George D. YOU WERE GREAT.

The single room was very small but it was no problem for overnight stay.
Location is very ideal, only 400m from Monastiraki metro station. And the staff were exceptionally. Super helpful and great service by breakfast staff and service counter. Rooms are clean and they even provide Nespresso coffee machine and capsules in rooms.

Very well located, near to Pirisi and Monasteraki square, in the middle of the down town. It is possible to walk every where in the city without any problem. Breakfast was good, complete and delicious. Personal service is kind, willing to help, they gave us some tips for our travel around Greece. Pleasent place to stay, i will definitely come back.
