Great hospitality, well equipped rooms, and beautiful rooftop hot tub!

The street on which the hotel stands is, to be honest, grim! Run-down buildings, covered in graffiti surround this excellent hotel.

The location is excellent, in that it is very central. The staff are amzing; friendly, herlpful and courteous. I would stay here again, just because of them alone! The hotel is very modern with spacious rooms, all well appointed. The rooftop terrace has amazing views of the Acropolis.

Room at front was a little noisy with traffic . Note street is on the edge of the centre, a bit industrial with little pedestrian traffic.

I was worried about the location but it was just fine. Easy walk to Plaka and areas. New hotel, owners were super helpful with recommendations.

Although the hotel was modern and great, the location did not look good. Buildings nearby were run down, however, I did not feel unsafe walking around. Also I would have liked an in-room safe to hold my passport, etc.

Meals were not served, but the room included some complementary water, juice boxes, and snacks. The free WiFi worked well. Our room also included a patio with table and chairs, but the view and sounds of the street were not great. There was no kitchen, but they did have a fridge, microwave, utensils and plates. That was everything we needed to enjoy our restaurant leftovers sitting leisurely at a table looking over the Acropolis on the roof lounge. There was access to the roof lounge which had a heated pool, tables, chairs, and lounge cushions, AND a great view of the Parthenon. It was also an easy walk to the Acropolis and Plaka. The shower was REALLY spectacular! We went to an island for a few days, and they were happy to store our excess luggage for us while we were away.

No bar, no restaurant. It’s not on a particularly great street but it’s a shortish walk over to the Acropolis.

The pool area is kind of first come first served, as it’s quite small. There were other quests using the pool while we were there so we didn’t use the pool at all. The hotel is located on a busy road, it wasn’t pleasant to walk around the hotel unfortunately, but the hotel itself is very nice and comfortable.

All facilities are well designed and modern. Bed is super comfortable. Slippers, conditioner and lotion provided.

The road the suites are on is very busy indeed, and although it's a short walk it's not a pleasant walk into the centre. The balcony looks onto this very busy dirty road so not really usable for relaxing. The pool on the rooftop is really only a plunge pool.

Staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern, comfortable and super clean. Quiet at night (despite being on busy road). Nothing is too much trouble for cleaning and reception staff. The shower is superb. The centre of Plaka is within 10 mins walk as is the Acropolis. It's in a very convenient position to do all the sights on foot. The rooftop gives a nice view of the Acropolis especially at night. Easy to get taxis to stop right outside

Level-difference between the bathroom and the kitchen. Courtains do not cover the whole window so there is no full dark at night.

I had a nice view both from the apartment and terrace. The bed was comfortable. The apartment was well-equipped.

There is nothing to not like but the front desk staff leaves for the night at 11 pm… so if you need something plan ahead.

Incredibly nice and welcoming staff with great tips for exploring the city and beaches. It's only a 5 min walk from the Akropolis museum, hadrians arch and plaka. Unfortunately next to a quite loud street but thanks to the good windows you barely hear it. Nice little rooftop with a small pool and a good view of the Akropolis. Free water and snacks. Room could be a little bigger but has brand-new furniture and bath as well as a fridge and a microwave. Very clean! We will definately come back :)

The facilities were excellent, we loved the roof terrace and the gym was well equipped. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the use of the private bathroom to shower and change before leaving for the airport and the weighing of our luggage.

Marissa at reception took the time to clearly explain where to catch the hop on hop off bus, find stores and the best restaurants frequented by Greeks. Nothing was a problem and we extended our stay by several days. We arrived late close to reception closing and were greeted by George who did not rush us, took us to our room and explained the working of the hotel. It was a great stay thanks to the staff.

Hard to find anything to dislike.

Athesense was clean, comfortable and close to tourist areas. Service by staff was excellent. Anny and George were very friendly and helpful in making our stay enjoyable.

Everything was perfect 🔝

It’s located on a perfect spot with a very nice view of the Acropolis. The rooftop with swimming pool on it and tables so you can bring your food or coffee for example to enjoy the view; was the highlight of this trip! Personel knows what hospitality is and especially their taxi driver; Sotiris 👌🏼 Amazing gentleman with lots of knowledge about the city/country and excellent service! You should ask for him when needing a taxi from or to the airport because it truelly is an experience itself 🚖💪🏼
