The hotel was above all our expectations. Great location, close to Old Town and the ferry port. Nice, friendly and efficent staff. Special thanks to Mika in the receeption for all your help. The breakfast was excellent, everything you needed and more. Nice, quiet pool area with a snackbar. We did not eat anything there but we had some tasty drinks. The apartment was spacy and comfortable, with good cleaning. There is a minimarket in the hotel with normal prices. We had a lovely stay in Athineon and would not hesitate to come back.

Hotel is slightly dated in decor but the standards for the price are great value.

It’s a bit dated in places but given the convenience, comfort and price, this was of no concern to us.

Very convenient (short walk) from ferry port after our sailing from Halki. We stayed for one night before heading to airport the next day. The hotel was spotlessly clean and fantastic value for money. We had a spacious apartment, a sea view and a very nice breakfast included. The old town is also just a few minutes walk away.

The first room that we were given was overlooking a busy road, and the noise from the cars and the motorcycles was quite annoying. However, we requested a room change, and the second room, overlooking the pool, was a lot more peaceful and quiet. It also seemed to have better furnishings. Also, make sure to avoid the minimarket downstairs, (it is connected to the property), as the products there are double or triple the price of a normal supermarket. Super Market Pappou (Πάππου - ΣΠΑΡ Ροδος) is a five minute walk away from the property, and is much more reasonably priced.

The total price for the property for 6 nights, including breakfast for four people, was only £420. This is an excellent deal, considering the average price of similar hotels in Rhodes Town. The staff were very helpful and friendly during the breakfast service, and the food provided was very nice overall, offering a range of hot food, hot and cold drinks, desserts, snacks and fresh fruits. The facilities were excellent, including the swimming pool, which was very large. Plenty of lounge chairs were provided. The room was very clean, and overlooking the pool, with comfortable bedding and a kitchen area. The bathroom was very clean, with a range of shampoos and conditioners provided.

Very clean and great place to stay if you want to discover Rhodes. Great breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and it had comfortable bedding (not the usual thin sheet with a blanket on it but rather a proper duvet)

Bed for couples is made with 2 one beds and it is not comfortable for marriages because it has a gap between.

The Hotel was very convenient for the sea the Old Town & Rhodes itself..all well within walking distance. The staff were amazing from the cleaning ladies to the management...nothing was too much trouble.. I would not hesitate to return & would certainly recommend this Hotel! The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice to suit everyone..again the staff were lovely ..always with a smile 😃 Thank you.

Nothing! It was perfect.

This smart hotel is close to the tourist/ferry port and 5 minutes stroll to the entrance to the old town. We stayed in a clean, very spacious apartment with separate bedroom & living room with balcony and a designated kitchen area. The buffet breakfast has an amazing variety of hot & cold food, incl.fresh fruit, salad and cakes. The staff, especially Xristina at the restaurant are an absolute delight and making this a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Bathrooms are a little tired and plug did not fit the hole in bath tub. Fridge freezer department a little over iced and could be cleaned between uses. I didn’t find fridge issues a problem personally as it kept my wine nice and cool

Location a little further away than I expected but also far enough away to not be in busy or noisy area. Hotel clean and good facilities. Just what I needed

It would have been good to have more English speaking channels on the TV

The hotel was very central with a small beach where you can bathe 1 minute away. The swimming pool is a decent size with sun loungers and a bar. The room is actually an apartment with a kitchen and living room. Breakfast was excellent and very varied. Staff are very helpful and genuinely interested in you and your happiness. Everywhere was very clean and organised. There is a big supermarket 5 minutes walk away if you want to cook. Airport bus is 20 minutes walk away along the seafront. Old City entrance just opposite the hotel. Moat walk next to Old City entrance.

Staff were very friendly and the layout of the hotel with the bar next to the pool was great. Good size apartment with pool view. Spacious. Good selection of food in restaurant. Shop next door which you could walk into from lobby. Pool table. Entertainment on Saturday night. Great location to walk into the old town by the sea. Close to fab restaurants. Quiet at night. Close to bus stop. Definitely recommend.

An additional cereal to the two available every day would have been welcome, but not essential. It set you up for the whole day, no need for lunch.

All excellent . The breakfast was varied and plentyfull and constantly refreshed. This enabled you to forgo a lunch and spend more time looking around the island.

A great hotel. We stayed as a family for five nights. The location of the hotel is perfect, you can walk to the old town. The pool is large and sufficient. rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is diverse and delicious. Despina and Dimitri's mojito challenge was excellent, they are both champions for us.
