Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaVery poor value for money. We went to much better places that were cheaper all across Skiathos (and a few at Skopelos) during our 2 week stay on these Greek islands. For some reason their pool closed super early (6:30pm? I have never seen anything like this before) and opened really late (9:30am). Since we only stayed 1 night we barely had a chance to use the facilities. On top of the already expensive stay they charged extra for “taxes” and “room service” (confused why this wasn’t included in the bill), plus we never actually recieved room service as we stayed for only 1 night? Also since we were recently engaged we asked for something special to be setup and they charged 25 euros for a few pieces of fruit (most of which were badly bruised and in poor condition) and a bottle of wine (plus 5 euro “put the room” fee?). Where other much cheaper places have given astounding special service without any additional fees. We also wanted to check the venue out for our wedding. Despite advertisements on their website and several wedding planner websites, they did not seem very keen on doing a wedding at all. We got very frank “I dont like doing weddings” from the manager followed by “but I hope we do your wedding” before we left. Not flexible at all or willing to accommodate simple requests. Needless to say we wont be going with them for our wedding.
Generally nice facilities. Not too far from a bus stop. Grounds were pretty with vines and flowers. Most staff were lovely and helpful.

United KingdomI felt it was expensive for what it was. I paid a hell of a lot of money but it wasn’t luxury. Breakfast was very average and the bed was so uncomfortable! I found the hotel very expensive for drinks. I paid for the bbq night one evening and it was 33e which I thought was a lot of money for what you got. Considering I was getting dinner elsewhere most evenings for about 5/10e
The hotel was set in the hills and a 2 min walk down the hill to the beach, my room was lovely with a pool and large outdoor area. The local beach is fabulous with sunbeds and lovely tavernas nearby to eat in the evenings. I did t go to the hotel pool once.

United KingdomTough to find any problems here. Being ultra picky.... bit of a hike to the beach - but we were not too pushed about this anyway. The orange juice in the buffet was too sweet and made from concentrate - would really make big impact if this was fresh.
Whole place spotlessly clean. Staff all really friendly and welcoming. Food generally great quality, fresh. Breakfast buffet well stocked. Lunch on terrace really great - range and quality. Pool spotless. Room air conditioning working really well - which was critical with temperatures in mid 30's. We had a late flight home and were able to use the hotel & pool for the full day and use the guest showers to freshen up before departure - brilliant to avoid wasting the last day.

United KingdomThe bar prices were very expensive and over priced and the bar food wasn't that great. You cannot sit by or use the pool until 09.30 which is no good if you are an early starter or want a swim before breakfast. The ant infestation around our plunge pool and patio was off-putting hence we went to the beach every day. Every time we returned in the late afternoon the cleaner had left the patio door wide open and we had a gate leading to car park. Not very secure....There was only one English speaking TV channel on the room TV but multiple French, German and others and considering most of the guests were English we were not catered for in respect to the TV. Although the staff were helpful and friendly, the guy who looks after the breakfast room was miserable and impolite for whole week. No good mornings, just a grunt and the same if you needed any help. One last comment is if you have mobility issues you may find the stairs and the walk down to the road an issue. Although there is a lift don't expect it to save you from having to use stairs.
The hotel was clean and tidy and in a nice setting and in easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The bus stop for the main town was nearby.

AustriaYou have to walk a little bit to the next bus station, but it's not that bad. We couldn't get a good breakfast on our last morning because we had to catch a flight so they prepared a plate with just cheese, ham and a piece of cake.
It was very nice, we had a great view from our room/balcony. The pool area is so beautiful and quiet, perfect to relax and you also have a great view and a bar which serves good coffee directly to your sunbed. Also the breakfast was good with a lot of variety.

United KingdomFirstly, the lift was out of order one day. For anyone suffering from a heart condition or asthma this made access to the restaurant quite difficult. We did mention to restaurant staff on several occasions that the buffet food was not hot and was not always replaced when dishes were empty resulting in empty dishes on display. Bathroom door did not fit closely (not faulty, just the design) this prevented any sort of privacy. However, the shower was very spacious
Location was good. Staff very helpful and attentive. Thomas at the pool bar had a lovely, helpful manner.

United KingdomHaving to leave
The hotel is a modern take on an old monastery style, which makes it the most beautiful hotel on the island. 25mins from the airport to Agia Paraskevi. Rooms are modern, large, very clean, large wardrobes, plenty of plugs sockets, mirrors etc. Restaurant serves buffet breakfast in the sunshine, cereals, cheese's, meats, breads, fruit, yoghurts, cooked foods - You'll want for nothing. Pool area in the middle of the hotel, elevated, over looing the sea, and its a large pool, great for swimming, plenty of luxury beds around to relax. Pool bar team are great, friendly, attentive, always available to bring you a cold drink on a hot day. The restaurant, run by an exceptional attentive manager (Konstauntiuos) serves gorgeous greek and Mediterranean food, couldn't fault it. Overall, it was an exceptional stay, Electra and her staff, from front of house, to backroom make your stay flawless. Notes: Bus stop 16 is nearby to get into Skiathos Town, €2 per person each way - Get off at Stop 4 and walk into town from the top end Beaches: Ag. Paraskevi is nice, but if you fancy a 25min walk, Kolios & Vromolimnos are lovely Restaurants: Ag. Paraskevi - Platanias Taverna & Bar or in Skiathos Town - Basilikos

South AfricaThe Atrium Hotel is truly spectacular!! Their photos online really do not do it justice. When we arrived, we were shown around the hotel and given a welcome drink while our bags were taken up to our room. The view over their stunning pool of the bay in front is exquisite. They have a very nice, well-stocked bar and their restaurant, where one can sit overlooking the pool and the bay is one of the nicest we’ve experienced so far in Greece! Their buffet breakfast is also of a very high quality. The best part was the hot tub and private outside area that our room had. Room service brought us Prosecco and beers to enjoy in the tub. It was truly idyllic. Thank you to the friendly, wonderful staff who made the next stop on our honeymoon so great!!

United Kingdomwe found our room (411) disappointing. it was a superior room with private pool and sea view. neither our pool area or balcony were private. we could see directly into the pool of the room below and the bar area could see into our pool. the staff quarters were also alongside our pool area and these were noisy and busy. the fire escape door accessed our pool area and there was also a fire route out of the back of the pool area, so again privacy and security felt compromised. we had a large tree by the pool that shed leaves and seedlings into the pool at all times, as such it wasn’t appetising to swim in. breakfast was average.
some of the communal rooms were characterful. unfortunately many of the main areas were soleless, for example the bedrooms and the pool /bar area. it is however by a lovely beech.

United KingdomThe air conditioning kept dripping. receptionist could not obtain correct information as I put a cash deposit on hotel pool towels that I was assured I would get back on last day but when I got to reception they said I paid by card and I waiting 30 minutes for them to rectify their mistake. they had incorrect bank details stapled to my room number and eventually gave me back my 20 euros in cash. Only one satellite channel ‘bbc news’ terrible WiFi only worked outside grounds of hotel families were claiming sun loungers with towels and then would disappear for hours while people are waiting to go on them. the life guard by pool would not do anything unless told to. not proactive.
the location is absolutely beautiful. the views from the pool area are out of the world.
