Amazing staff. I was there during the storm and they managed to be flexible enough to make me and my family enjoy our vacation. The nature in the hotel is kinda tropical, the water is clean. There were many kids and still it was quiet.

It is not applicable to the property itself but during our stay the private beach was destroyed by the storm that swept the region the week before and it had absolutely nothing in common with the pictures in booking.com.

Comfortable delux studio on the ground floor only a flight of stairs away from the pool. Very beautiful well kept garden. Perfect for a family with children.

The property is lovely, a lot of nature around, our room had a big terrace overlooking the sea. It’s child friendly, has a playground, a lot of green spaces, beautiful pool, a charming 5 min walk to the beach. The beach is small, very clean, almost deserted. It clearly has suffered from the recent floods but still beautiful.

I spend five beautiful days in this hotel. The room was lovely - tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and bright. Beautifully landscaped territory. Gorgeous small private beach. Special thanks to Dimitra for her sunny smile, very warm and professional welcome and care. Thanks to Eleni, head chef, for her extraordinarily tasty, fresh and well presented food. Very grateful to Kseniia, Marina and Louis. And, huge thank you to Vasiliki (Vicky), bartender and waitress at the restaurant - with her positive attitude and delicate sense of humour she made my stay absolutely fabulous and unforgettable!

The hotel is small and very cozy. The atmosphere is family friendly and the staff is incredibly pleasant. The manager Kseinia tries to solve your every request, Maria, Dimitra and Luis try to make it all happen and they are incredibly hardworking. Viki serves you in the restaurants and she is very friendly while Eleni and Nikos prepare amazing food. The pool is in the garden surrounded by forest The beach is private and the sea is beautiful.

Avatel was a great place for our holiday with 2 kids and our family dog! The location is very nice, with a big garden, close to the private beach of the hotel, food was delicious, cleanliness is exemplary. But besides this, this small hotel also has something special, a nice familiar atmosphere that is created by the staff working there. Everyone was very kind, always smiling, helpful. Dimitra and her Ukranian colleague (sorry, forgot her name) from the Reception were both very helpful in giving us local tips and helping us when we needed anything. The restaurant staff, Viki, Marina and the young man at the breakfast were very attentive, making sure nothing was missing and always making our meals a pleasure. Luis was taking care of us at the pool bar, making our day cooler with some nice drinks and a smile. Thank you all for making our holiday amazing! The live music in one of the evenings was a very nice touch and soon became a nice dancing party with the staff and the guests which we have really enjoyed! We will definitely be back here if we will have an opportunity!

Very quiet and cozy place. The air and water quality was exceptional. There was not a mosquito problem too, which is usually the case in halkidiki. The staff, especially Ksenia and Dimitra was very helpful and they solved our problems immidiately with their best effort.

The breakfast provided by the hotel was good, but there was room for improvement. One drawback was that the eggs were generally served cold, making them unappetizing. Additionally, I encountered an odd experience when I wanted to enjoy a coffee near the sea before having breakfast. The hotel staff seemed to have a peculiar policy that allowed only one entry to the restaurant environment, which could be inconvenient for guests who preferred a more flexible dining routine. The room had a tiny kitchen equipped with a kettle and a cooktop. While this can be a convenient feature for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals or enjoy a hot beverage in the comfort of their room, it is disappointing to see that there was no coffee or tea provided.

In terms of the room, it was clean and well-maintained. The air conditioning system worked efficiently, ensuring a comfortable indoor temperature. The presence of a balcony provided a lovely space to relax and enjoy the views of the forest, swimming pool, and sea. The room size was adequate, allowing for a comfortable stay. The swimming pool was good and beach was amazing. The beach provided a picturesque setting to relax and soak up the sun. The walking path leading to the sea, which passed through a forest, created a unique and enchanting atmosphere, adding a special touch to the overall experience. It's worth mentioning that for those who may struggle with walking uphill, this could be a downside. However, for me, it was a great addition to my stay and enhanced the overall ambiance.
